PANAMA CITY — Myron Hines' face lights up like Christmas morning when you ask him about Barack Obama.

The new president is a partial realization of Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream, he said.

"That is something that's almost too much for words," Hines said. "It's so emotional that you can't put it into words."

Hines, the chairman of the Advisory Council for Urban Revitalization Equity, led a march through downtown Panama City Saturday in King's. The group sang "Ain't gonna let nobody turn me around" and dressed in shirts that featured the Alabama preacher facing the president-elect. Lindsey McCambry, a Mosley High School student, spoke at the event.
