I'm an old timer by SC standards, but I'm still here. I think that SC is like living in a great neighborhood. Sometimes good neighbors move out and others settle in where they were. You just need to get to know the new neighbors.

SilverWhisper had to be an alter ego of the SoulCast owner(s). I suspect many of the original bloggers here might have shared that same fate and that is why they are all gone.

Newbies still pop in.....
So its difficult to say if we are slowly dying or slowly rebuilding what ever we've lost along the way......only time would tell..
For me....i seriously considered leaving for good few months ago.....i talked about it with BeyBey and other few.......but I think i will stick around a little longer.......:-)

I agree with what CreativeWoman said about neighbours moving in and out.
Also, I think what ALIENated said about silverwhisper is interesting because I was thinking the same thing the other week. Why else would someone spend so much time reading and commenting on over 600 bloggers and their posts? And when silverW disappeared, so did contact with SC admin for a while. But who knows, eh?
Well, who do I want to call back? I can't remember the names but I read some good posts when I first signed up here back in May of 2006 and those people soon quit blogging here shortly after that. So it goes, I guess. Right, CW?

A lot of good bloggers have moved in and out besides those already mentioned. Remember JadeLondon and Scalywag? We have some great newbies now too that I enjoy very much.
I've been here since 2006 too, but I'm not exactly sure when I started since I had a wild hair once and deleted a few of my earliest posts.

*sigh* CDub, I remember scalywag.I can think of so many, it's just depressing. mom and I had some great food fights. She came back for a little while but it wasn't the same. I think the big drama involving copsunited among others took some of the heart out of SoulCast. Some SC'ers left because of it. -

Mom was always "flinging taters". She always made me laugh. There were a couple of times over my years here that if SC had a "delete this blog" button, I would have nuked mine. There was a time when people hated me just because my blog was popular and that really hurt. Then there was a time or two when I got ground up in the SC rumor mill. Those were the darkest times here for me. I tried to leave, but I always came back because of the friendships.
