I Am The Vine, You Are The Branches.
He Who Abides In Me, And I In Him,
Bears Much Fruit ... -John 15:5

MOTHER:
(Things I had written after my mother had passed away)
Recently my mother passed away. And I decided to sit down and do some writing as a tribute to her, in Rememberance of a very special person who lived for God daily. May my sharing her story touch each of your lives and hearts. Written in: May 2003...

ON APRIL 25, 2003:
My heart was filled with pain. The pain was of mourning of the separation I would endure of having the greatest woman I know leave her family, here on earth. Although we all know that day will come when we must die' to our earthly bodies; we are never ready to say goodbye.
I believe my mother would ask her family and other loved ones and all her friends, and those who she met along her journey one "Question,   "Andthat is "are you ready for your day when you must die to meet the Lord, ans Savior, Jesus Christ?
She would then read Scripture to them of how it takes preparing," for your last days on earth; that we will all face one day. When we will walk through that valley all alone! When know one else can walk it with us, but for (one) true friend that will never leave you or forsake you, and his name is Jesus...
Mother was (87) years of age when her day came to walk through the valley of death. Born in Phillips Co, Kansas. She was a retired CNA, and a Home Care Provider. She belonged to Apostolic Faith Tabernacle.
Mother was an achevier; always reaching out to better her life, never sitting down tell time for bed. She raised a large family, leaving behind: two-daughters and six sons. Along with twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren and fourteen-great-great grandchildren. She kept her house spotless, cooked three meals a day, and washed and ironed, plus canned everything she could that daddy grew in his large garden. Stocking the cellar to keep them through the winter months. She later took on many other jobs, such as becoming a Home Care Provider keeping elderly women in her home and went on to go to school to become a CNA. She took on many jobs and performed each one with pride and love. She was a woman of great strength; she was never a person to complain, and always showed affection to everyone around her. She was (70) years old when she retired at the hospital. And she kept working after she retired! Then came a day when her body gave out and she became tired.

A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

God saw that she was getting tired.
And a cure was not to be,
so he put her arms around her and whispered, "Come with Me,"
With tearful eyes we watched her suffer, and saw her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands were layed to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

NEARING MOTHER'S DAY, MY COMFORT CAME:
My tears still fresh and my heart still broken;
I hear my mother's voice calling out my name."Here I Am,"
My presence forever nearbye; I'm just waiting on the other side.
The angels met me and said, well theirs Mildred;
and asked how I made it here, and I just told them about that wonderful day
I took my little walk up front of the Church and how I was baptized in Jesus name!
You talk about a Hallelijeh meeting; its going on in heaven right now,
and soon my daughter you'll be invited to join in;
it only takes believing what the scriptures say,
and then following Jesus commands, to prepare for this day.
My tears have now been replaced with Love, Joy, and Peace!
Happy Mother's Day Mom, until we meet again!
Your daughter with love ...

WHERE THE ROSES NEVER FADE:

I am going to a city where the streets with gold are laid,
Where the tree of life is blooming, And the roses never fade.
Loved ones gone to be with Jesus, In their robes of white arrayed,
Now are waiting for my coming, Where the roses never fade.
Here they bloom but for a Season, Soon their beauty is decayed,
I am going to a city, Where the roses never fade.

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO:

When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little, But not to long,
And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me, But let me go.
For this is a journey that we all each must go alone,
Its all apart Its all apart of the Master's plan, A step on the way to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me, But let me go...

HE'LL SEE YOU THROUGH:

No matter what your trials are or how big your mountains seem;
the Lord is there to see you through He'll go to all extremes.
So if your cross seems hard to bear, And you know not what to do;
The one who loves you most of all will be three to see you through.
And when your life seems empty,  And skies look grey, not blue;
You'll feel the nearness of the one who's there to see you through.
Oh' friend; I've known the heartache, When my rainbow lost it's hue!
But like all things it's passing, He was there to see me through...
