Steve Mapes of Lincoln Nebraska, A four time felon with a gun.

One day I was driving by Steve Mapes's house. As I was driving by I look over and I see Steve Mapes standing on his roof. I pulled the car over to the side of the road and yelled out of the car window up at Steve. "Hey Steve, what are you doing up there?" Steve started screaming how he was going to kill someone named Cosmic. Steve Yelled "If he comes by here I am going to be ready for him!!!". Directly after saying this Steve lifts up his shirt to expose a hand gun. I was not about to stick around and find out the outcome of this one. I then yelled up at Steve "Don't shoot anybody!" and then I drove off. I have never driven by there since.

Editor Comments: Thank you for your submission. This comes as quite a shock. Stevemapes.com has had several reports from Lincoln Nebraska residents claiming Steve's father would "beg the police" not to send his son back to prison. This suggesting that Steve's father had enough "clout" to keep Steve out of prison. When you look at Steve Mapes's criminal records listed on stevemapes.com home page, you see that Steve has four known felony convictions. Many can not help to think that if anyone else had that many felonies they would be in prison half of their life. Very strange. This is no doubt part of what fuels Steve's constant "I can do whatever I want" attitude. All of this combined with the drug abuse and homophobia makes Steve Mapes one of the most dangerous people walking the streets in Lincoln, Nebraska. "When he kills somebody you will wish you had listened to us" claims all CCSSM members and affiliates.
