I went to Vegas for the first time in a LONG time. All I have to say is, I'm glad I'm a girl. Men get NO love in Vegas. Men - Am I right? I hit up Pure with my girlfriends and we squirmed up to the front of the line with no problem. Once we got through the front, none of us had to pay cover. In the meantime, I'm hearing guys left and right bribing the bouncers into letting them through for $80 each. And that's BEFORE they paid cover which is 25 bucks. At the bar, it's no different. My gf paid for the first two rounds, which I was very thankful for. I think she paid $20/drink for 10 drinks (ouch!). But we didn't have to pay for anymore after that... I got hit on by this really nice Canadian guy who said he was a surgeon. Hell, who knows, maybe he was a surgeon. He showed me some medical card thing that had some license numbers on it or whatever. But on the other hand, it is Vegas, and anything goes, right? Anyway, all in all it was a good trip. Anyone have any good/bad Vegas trips to share with me? I know they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. But we all know that's only really true to a small extent... Unfortunately, I didn't hook up. The guys at Pure aren't exactly what you'd call "quality." Anyway, sorry to disappoint...
