I've been reading a lot about time travel. The math eludes me but the concepts I understand. I get the feeling that we are on a continuous time loop and that there are so many universes that have existed, do exist and will exist. Time is infinite. I never want to die so I can understand the concept of infinity but I will die when it's "my time" and my body is tired.
I don't believe in a creator, and I don't believe in a first cause that is conscious. Whatever caused time and matter has no concept of us, or even itself, in my opinion. Whatever it was has been dispelled and its original form is no more. We cannot be created in its likeness because then I believe we would all just be explosions of energy that have no concept of ourselves or our surroundings but that devour any energy in the way. Perhaps that last part describes us as humans though. I don't understand why people see a need to put faith in some magic eye in the sky that watches over us and actually gives a fuck about us. I am content with being and making my life here good. I am content with making others happy and enjoying my life without harming anybody else's life, because this is all we've got. There's no heaven. There's no hell. There's no purgatory. There is the past. There is the future. And there is now. And whatever the universe is, it has always existed, in one form or another. Isn't that ominous enough? Must we believe in a god that will fix everything if we just pray hard enough?

Most people can't deal with the idea of their own insignificance, so they invent spooks that can intercede on their behalf if they just do the right little jig at the right place in the right time.  The problem with this, as with all delusions, is that when the inevitable clash with reality comes, things get ugly.

I pulled a good one yesterday here at home and just thought I'd share for a laugh.

I got home two hours early from working 12 hours shifts for a few days, so I crawled into bed and meditated myself into a deep sleep, planning on just a nap. ...
Cast Iron, butter, some freshly crushed garlic, black pepper, a couple handfuls of mushrooms and, oh DEER !...
Just tell us your opinion....
Since the publication in May of his book, ''Heaven and Earth: Global Warming - The Missing Science,'' Ian Plimer has been the darling of conservative media commentators and the global network of climate change skeptics...
Exactly how much "in the image of God" are we? Do we have Godly powers to create matter even without knowing that we are? How do we define "reality" and what does science say about the matter?...
