OMG it is -24 degree below zero!!! The little dogs went out to pee and I had to chip them lose from the ground froze right to it. It was 4:45 AM and yesterday we ran out of oil. The house got down to 44 degree before the oil man came and fill the tank. It is sooo.. cold that the deer in the woods are come out into the towns.  This morning as I took the girlfriend to work, a police car was trying to move three deer off the road at 5:30 AM, flashing lights and deer in the old headlights!  My car is still in the shop having the motor worked on and that is OK as it did not have any heat! When it is this cold the smoke and steam from the paper mills hang in the air and make a fog early in the morning.  I miss San Francisco, SHIT! ..COLD THERE IS WHAT…… 30 DEGREES!.... A walk in the park!!

    This is the end of winter kayaking as I can no longer find any open water.  I don’t mind putting on the polypro underwear, wetsuit, dry top, dry boots, dry hood, dry gloves, helmet, and life vest.  I even do roll in the river but not now it has turn all to ice. So now I will try not to get fat and dream of open water!   On Saturday I going to a party  and looking forward to that.
