Filmed on-location in Israel, Jordan, Egypt, the Sinai, and Mt. Ararat, among other locations in the Holy Land in high definition digital video, "Walking the Bible" is one part adventure story, one part archeological detective work, and one part spiritual exploration which describes author and host Bruce Feiler's 10,000-mile inspiring odyssey by foot, Jeep, rowboat, and camel through the greatest stories ever told. Viewers will travel to the forbidding and hostile environment of the Mesopotamian highlands, the Nile Delta, and the Sinai Desert to experience the travails of the patriarchs and the dangers of Exodus.

"Walking the Bible" is executive produced by TMC Entertainment's Drew S Levin and his long-time associate, Jim Coane. Drew Levin and Coane each won an Emmy for their critically acclaimed PBS series, "Future Quest." Levin also assembled an impressive international production team which includes renowned British producer Rebecca Dobbs, best known for the BBC/PBS miniseries, "Conquistadors" and "In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great" and BAFTA award-winning director David Wallace ("In Search of Shakespeare"). Alex Gregory, a multiple Emmy Award winner ("The Living Eden" and "The Secret Life of 118 Green Street"), served as co-writer with Bruce Feiler on the miniseries.
