Age/sex/location? Is was common introductory way of getting to know some vitals about others, back in the days of old IRC sytle internet chat rooms.
I thought it would be nice to do it here, just to get to know everyone a little better.
By all means, just give your closest city as location, and maybe even tweak your age slightly if you wish to over-protect your anonymity. It will still at least give us all a little clearer picture of who everyone is - which I think would be nice.

I have ancestors that sailed to America (from just outside of London) on the "True Love of London" around the late 1630's to early 1640's. But that is the closest to London I have ever been. It's a pity, really. I have always dreamt of going. I became even further intrigued when I discovered I actually had roots there.

I really like the fact that this community is so international. I love the US, but I get kind of tired of Americancentricness.
