i am irritated.
this afternoon on my way home i stopped by the eye doctor to check on my daughters prescription for glasses.
they said when she had the eye exam that it would take 3 to 4 weeks for her glasses to come in....it's been at LEAST 6 weeks....maybe 7, i haven't kept that close of track.
so i stopped in to find out if they'd gotten them in yet, since it's been so long and i've been very patient.....but they never called me or anything.
the receptionist said that she'd called the lab yesterday and they'd lost her prescription.
they had no record of receiving it.
....i just REALLY hope they still have the frames she'd picked out.
anyway....so i have to take her insurance in there tomorrow....and as soon as i've resubmitted her insurance....she'll put the prescription in again.....and it will take another 3 weeks.
right now i'm just disgusted. ...she needs them......she's still getting bad headaches at school.
i'm not sure if i should have handled it differently....it wasn't the receptionists fault.
it's the labs fault.
....it's a state run lab.......so not really anything to be done about that.
i'm just frustrated.

I'd have crawled up someone's colon and made sure it was so uncomfortable that they would have hand walked those glasses through the lab and to the post office. But that's just me and I'm like that. -

I am surprised it takes so long over there.Here when i got mine,it took them 7 days to get it to the lab and back,and thats normal for here.I am suprised that they didnt inform you that they had lost the script - what kind of follow up procedure do they have? clearly none -
