Pedophilia is a sexual attraction with a child prepubescent or underage of country legality.
A Child Predator is someone that willfully and maliciously hunts down children and has their way with them, and it can range from exposure to rape to full blown murder. These people are the dregs of the world and must be eliminated if peace is to reign supreme. But this is reality and you can stop it all; just contain it.
Now if you want to assume the worst of a pedophile, then one must think about other things. For instance, someone that has a sexual attraction can do one of two things. Act on it, or admire it from afar knowing it is wrong. Now, you can say the same thing about murder. There are those who act on it, and those that see it and watch it, but know its wrong; therefore they do not act.
You can compare this countless times to people with various situations and will still produce the same results. So I ask you this: Do you act on a desire or do you just admire from afar. These are the only options because everything has two choices in life: Yes or No. There is no maybe as this often leads to a yes.
OK so to get back to the real story. It seems things are getting out of hand over at the forum. I am seeing the same questions over and over and over again, and quite frankly the original poster is unable to get his message across.

His has not one time ever said he molests children, has had sex with them nor any other illegal thing. He is explaining the fact he has an attraction for a young girl. An attraction is just that an attraction. See this is where things get blurred. Kids today as well as teenagers DO understand because TV and the media has glamorized sex to the point of it being sexually orienting for kids as young as 10 years old.I would not expect them to make decisions that everyday adults make but they know a difference in right and wrong. They know when to say no and they know more than an average adult in some cases. We CANNOT keep thinking and treating children like feeble minded toddlers. we have to cut the cord and let them grow. You will not be able to shield them from everything, and shows like Hanna Montana and Zoey 101 reinforce the fact that sex is mainstream. Plus it doesn't help that Jaime Lynn gets knocked up and all the teenagers go out and emulate her. If a star does it, then its OK.

Until they are of legal age, they are kids and as such the protection lies within the adults. your statement is invalid as all justification lies in adult and child. not borderline adult and adult. they are all kids until the law says otherwise.
