It is 4:30 AM and it is sleeting outside as the snowplows run up and down the road.  My hands cup around the coffee and ...........ohhhh it is so good!   The warm feeling, the steam fogging my glasses and the first mouth full.......Yes ....so good.  Out the door to take the girlfriend to work as we are down to one car for a few weeks.  Return to my home and the pack of little dogs happy to see me. They act like I was gone for days, nice to have someone so happy to see me.  I love my dogs as they are always happy with me.  Second coffee in hand, sitting down in my chair, Sunny Dee dog jumps up on my lap, TV on in the background. The news going on and on about the storm and the roads.  I look out at the darkness and the snow, sleet but some how feel warm and safe.  Little dog now in a deep sleep on my lap, the others are at my feet.  I know in a few hours that I will have to go out in that cold and go to a job that I do not like but still glad I have one, so make the best of it.  It is income and needed to pay the bills.  Three degrees and can not find a job here, I am so underemployed.  Looking for a better one but will hold on to this one as there is more then one storm out there!  Now enjoy the morning and will enjoy tonight safe, warm and loved in my home..
