Mitch Battros has been featuring the ancient prophecies of the Mayan peoples for years. And, for years they have been correlating the Yellowstone Super Volcano as an indicator of the "End of the World as We Know It" (TEOTWAWKI). Most people think of this event as a disasterous event that kills over a third of the worlds population.

If Yellowstone blows it will bury hundreds of missile silos and over 26 nuclear plants along the Mississippi. Today there is evidence that there is a 'BULGE' in the Caldera of this mighty volcano, which is an indicator that the magma is on the move.

This is not a joke. If Yellowstone becomes active it will plunge the world into an ice age after it buries the Midwest under feet of ash! Now, we are all aware of the fact that we are experiencing a 'Melt Water' on Earth that is caused by the Earth heating. When these Earthchanges reach a quantum effect, then new oceans form as continents split bc the land/water ratio is shifting rapidly. I continue to tell people that a Melt Water event does not go away or just stop in its tracks. It is developing a cresendo that will see a whole series of events that move like a domino once it is set into motion.

Educating ourselves about the nature of the Earthchanges wil enable us to make adjustments to our plan for survival - if we have the desire to survive, that is! For those of you who continue to ignore my warnings and continue to treat this information as less than interesting, you have my condolences for being trapped within your own hopelessness and pessimism.

Below is a brief description of the Mayan Prophecies as interpreted by the living Mayan Elders. Mitch Battros has been correlating thier prophecies with world events for years and, as a scientist, he has been very deliberate in his approach to these "End of the World" type of prophecies. If it weren't for the correlating Earthchanges, he never would have examined these claims as thoroughly as he has. I've followed his work now for a decade and have witnessed NASA verifying his scientific formula's etc...

Education is essential

below are quotes from Battros's website 'earthchangesmedia.com'

find out what would happen to your neck of the woods if this volcano were to become active and talk to your family about pro-active steps that would help you feel prepared. this is one of many things we can do to protect our loved ones. What would you do?

Mayan Elders Foretold of Yellowstone and More:

I had received a telephone call in August of this year from Mayan Elder Carlos Barrios whom I've had a close relationship since 2005. Carlos told me he would be meeting with Mayan Tribal Elders to discuss coming events. Carlos is from the 'Clan de Aguila' (the Eagle clan). He stated there is a heighten concern which may already be in play.

The areas of concern are as follows:

-- Watch for elevated earthquake and volcano activity especially Yellowstone (happening now)

-- Watch for an unexpected down-turn in US economy (already occurred)

-- Watch for a single nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan (pending)

-- Watch for a US backed strike on Iran (watch Israel)

hopelessness and pessimism are usually characteristics ascribed to doomsdayers...however, when earthchanges begin to occur, as they are, many people ignore the warning signs by holding tight to illusions. the same type of illusions that motivate folks to build in a flood plain etc...

In fact the worlds clocks had to be changed this year bc the earths rotation slowed down. this is not a hoax, it is a world in flux. the bible has similar prophecies. If you know some of those, this would be a good place to mention them, bc the Mayan Prophecies correlate with many other ancient prophecies as well.

By Chris Dolmetsch - Bloomberg News
    Dec 30, 2008 - 7:17:27 PM

BLOOMBERG NEWS - Yellowstone is home to the world's largest active caldera, or volcanic depression. The cataclysmic eruption that led to the creation of the 1,750-square-mile caldera -- a so-called "supervolcano" -- took place 640,000 years ago, leaving ash as far away as Louisiana. Hundreds of small earthquakes have struck Yellowstone National Park in the western U.S. during the past four days.

Earthquakes are common in Yellowstone, which averages 1,000 to 2,000 tremors a year, and its 10,000 geysers and hot springs are the result of geologic activity, the Salt Lake City-based university said in a statement on its Web site. The park covers sections of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

"This is not any indicator" of an imminent threat, Robert Smith, a professor of geology and geophysics, said in a telephone interview from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. "It's part of the ongoing activity of Yellowstone being an active and alive volcanic system."

The university's network of 28 seismographs in the area started picking up the tremors on Dec. 26, and more than 250 quakes have been recorded since then -- including nine greater than magnitude 3.0 and about 24 between magnitude 2.0 and 3.0. Some visitors have reported feeling the quakes.

Seismologists are trying to determine if the tremors are being caused by fault movements, the university said. The biggest quake was a magnitude 3.9 recorded at 10:15 p.m. local time on Dec. 27, when the largest number of tremors of magnitude 3.0 or more was recorded.

    Centered on Lake

The quakes, which are as much as a few miles deep, are taking place beneath Yellowstone Lake, about 3 to 6 miles (5 to 10 kilometers) south-southeast of Fishing Bridge, Wyoming. They are centered on the east side of the Yellowstone volcanic caldera.

A 7.9-magnitude quake that struck Alaska on Nov. 4, 2002, triggered hundreds of earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or less in Yellowstone about 17 hours later, the university said.

The university operates a seismograph network in Yellowstone with the National Park Service and the U.S. Geological Survey, its partners in the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory. About 3.15 million people visited the park in 2007.

    Last Eruption

There have been smaller eruptions since then, most recently 70,000 years ago.

A magnitude-7.5 earthquake struck just outside the park in 1959, killing 28 people. Hazards over the next few hundred years "will most probably be limited to ongoing geyser and hot spring activity, occasional steam explosions, and moderate to large earthquakes," according to the fact sheet.

"There's this common idea that the supervolcano is about to erupt," Smith said. "People take the fact we've had three eruptions and they average those numbers and they say we're on track for another one. Just because there's been three giant eruptions doesn't meant they are going to erupt every time like this."

in many ways Y2K polarized americans in regard to doomsday prophecies - one group scorns those who identify the endless scenarios of doom that intimidate humanity in all moments, while the one's who are obsessed with frightening prophecies, usually turn to mind numbing agents and activities to not notice that they are 'freaked out'.

Yesss this statement is a mind numbing generalization - to say the least - yet, when it comes to 'polarization' and UNMITIGATED DUALITY folks are pretty predictable. which is why many survivalists are sane folks seeing the neon warning signs that are bludgeoning the opiated masses.

this new year 2009 I am staying focused upon my base physical needs...I will commence to treat the water that i drink as the ultimate gift of Providence and breathe in the air upon a sigh of satisfaction  - satisfying to know that I am being provided for.

MY PLEDGE TO MY SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS:

spend $ 200 on fresh organic grains (millet, rice, lentils and sprouting  seeds) and seal-a-meal them in serving size packets. put these and cooking oil, tamari, and sweets, wine and candles in plastic bins that are duck-taped. This is kept with at 20 gallons of drinking water stored in glass.

This is a very simple move that every family SHOULD have for times of natural storms, economic storms, war, or God forbid, cataclismic earthchanges. My family motto has typically mimicked the Mormon folks. They keep a year supply of the basic food ration (described above) as a personal family assurance that helps one FEEL as if they did their best. For me, my best is characterized as "Pray as if it all depends upon God, and work as if it all depends upon me".

The Minonites alwayes impressed me for their 'Amish' kinds of creeds that would work with the humble grains to insure thier families safety come hell or high water. Well, we have high water here on Maui and friends of mine can't get home. thank goodness im high and dry on South Shore with the revelers...not huddled up waiting for the river to go down. My lifestyle requires that I keep these types of stores handy for myself and my family. to supplement these meager supplies, I keep year around 'salad plants' growing in and around my dwellings. most all of my ornamentals are edible as well. These are the small measures that i take so that i do not feel vulnerable. lessening ones stress level is worth loads of cash and these types of actions help to strengthen pro-life types of thinking instead of futile "i don't give a fuck" attitudes that have folks living in some type of Ground Hogs day type of party similar to the one on the decks of the Titanic.

My sense of well-being for simply storing "hurricane supplies" is the point i am getting at, why my funds and energy will focus upon fundamental and reasonable preparedness.

I had a fabulous Holiday season that is still ongoing

I pray the arms of tenderness and the kiss of understanding were your holiday gifts

    selah

    Yellowstone Caldera from Wiki:

The loosely-defined term 'supervolcano' has been used to describe volcanic fields that produce exceptionally-large volcanic eruptions. Thus defined, the Yellowstone Supervolcano is the volcanic field which produced the latest three supereruptions from the SRPY hotspot. The three supereruptions occurred 2.1 million, 1.3 million and 640,000 years ago; forming the Island Park Caldera, the Henry's Fork Caldera, and Yellowstone calderas, respectively. The Island Park Caldera supereruption that produced the Huckleberry Ridge Tuff was the largest and produced 2,500 times as much ash as the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. The second largest supereruption formed the Yellowstone Caldera and produced the Lava Creek Tuff. The Henry's Fork Caldera produced the smaller Mesa Falls Tuff but is the only caldera from the SRPY hotspot that is plainly visible today.

.8 and .66 million years apart for an average of every .73 million years. The next should be in approximately 70,000 years. Or on the outside chance between now and 140,000 years from now. More from Wiki:

Non-explosive eruptions of lava and less violent explosive eruptions have occurred in and near the Yellowstone caldera since the last supereruption. The most recent lava flow occurred about 70,000 years ago while the largest violent eruption excavated the West Thumb of Lake Yellowstone around 150,000 years ago. Smaller steam explosions occur as well; an explosion 13,800 years ago left a 5 kilometer diameter crater at Mary Bay on the edge of Yellowstone Lake (located in the center of the caldera). Currently, volcanic activity is exhibited only via numerous geothermal vents scattered throughout the region, including the famous Old Faithful Geyser.

The volcanic eruptions, as well as the continuing geothermal activity, are a result of a large chamber of magma located below the caldera's surface. The magma in this chamber contains gases that are kept dissolved only by the immense pressure that the magma is under. If the pressure is released to a sufficient degree by some geological shift, then some of the gases bubble out and cause the magma to expand. This can cause a runaway reaction. If the expansion results in further relief of pressure, for example, by blowing crust material off the top of the chamber, the result is a very large gas explosion.

yes mobil one can avoid a piroclastic flow...this is THE most dangerous aspect of any West Coast volcano. Those who live in the proximity of this beast probably calm themselves down by believing that this event will end humanity, so what is the use in moving to a safer place.

As shelter posted above, this caldera has demonstrated all levels of explosiveness. And, at this time the sun is not having any solar emmisions, which would exascerbate an eruption from a small one to a 'super' eruption. However, if the next solar cycle does act up, then the magma chambers that are currently making their way to the surface in Yellowstone will have 'super' energy. I'm sorry that you are in denial of the immediate danger that your family lives in by staying near a volcano that is becoming active. I was in Oregon when Mt. Saint Helens erupted and there were folks that chose to deny what was going on around them bc they would rather die than move. I guess it always comes down to the Will to Live after all. Unfortunately there are so many people that want to die that their denial is misleading those who want to live.

What will set off a catclizmic event in Yellowstone is when an earthquake allows Yellowstone Lake to to fall in to the magma chamber. All other events are minor in comparison. There are nine caldaras in the World, but none compare to the Yellowtones caldara.

When the big one at Yellowstone happens the eruption with make what happened on Mount Saint Helens look like like a popcorn fart. The sun will be blocked for many years. Humanity will cease to exist in both hemisphers. I don't say this because it makes me feel better living in the eye of stom Andora.

One can run to save himself from a volcano in Montana and be drowned in a river on his way from there. I'll stay put.
  • andora said on Jan 04, 2009....
i get what you are saying about the drowning

i had a brother in-law that said, "what good is it worrying about a healthy diet, when you could be hit by a truck tomorrow" - 2 yrs later he has a massive heart attack and died - my sister later told me that he has a recurring nightmare where he was getting chased by a rolling meatball! i kid u not

    anyhow mobil

the earthquake of which you speak already occurred - it was a 7.9 in Alaska at the turn of the century. I made a mental not about this earthquake because it created a new fault line that ran to Yellowstone. That was a deciding moment for the Earth and her finger points to the big caldera - or cluster caldera. In effect, the tectonic plate helped the magma ocean under yellowstone find a fissure and re-charge the magma ocean. As to whether or not it will be a mild eruption - or a super-volcano definitely depends upon the moods of Helios. It is the sun that recharges the earth's core. The last solar cycle was off the charts and initiated extreme earthquake and volcanic response. the sun has been quiet lately and the moon is what is making the tectonic plates respond to the added weight of the oceans (due to the Melt Water Event).

Last time the sun was blowing off the charts wars, rumors of wars and earthchanges amped up and now everyone is lusting for the end of days that you so poignantly called stom andora. Well, is Helios keeps calm yellowstone will have a popcorn fart after all.

We are especially vulnerable right now bc we have less magnetic field than usual and the earth is in a wobble and some say she is in the process of flipping magnetic poles. Let's hope it is just a magnetic shift, bc if the earth bobbles and then flips over physically, we will all have the ride of our lives/deaths.

Being pro-life, I have asked the sun and the earth to just freak the folk out without killing them, bc this would help us to realize that we are all related through the beings of the Sun and the Earth and Whoever created them.

    peace

i hope its just a popcorn fart mobil and that you are not down wind of it
  • mobil said on Jan 05, 2009....
There was a much bigger earthquake in Alaska in 1964, it was first rated as a 9.6 and more recentely upgraded to a 10, can you imagine that?

I was there four years after it happened, this 64 quake covered almost the entire land mass off Alaska (not a small about of land) and created a 15 ft wave (not water) but wave of land that rolled across the state.

I am not into the New Age stuff Andora, but I've read some of the books. I don't think the Earth is going to flip poles, but then if it does, there isn't much to do about it hey?

I am from the school of if there is no solution, there is no problem.......thank you

  • andora said on Jan 05, 2009....
    there's always a solution

I have been accused of being New Age, but they don't want me either...so I am way fringe

my work is a marriage between science and esoteric thought. Since I have experience that verifies my theory of panGasm, it no longer falls into the category of theory...it is simply, my truth that has manifest in the physical. It continues to work for me, so I'm sharing some good news in my not so 'new age' lit.

As far as earthchanges go, I am fascinated with the earth and the sun. I feel that it is important to learn about what we have to work with (from the solar system to the function of the cells in my body) as a way of creating custom solutions. What is a solution for me, may not also be a solution for others, however, the principle of panGasm is not about telling people what to do with what they have, instead, it is telling people that they actually have a choice and what it is they have to work with in creating their unique reality. there's enough room for all of us to have our own truth without making others wrong for having a different truth. When it comes to what is true about the earth and sun, I listen to science, not New Age prophets.

Pole shifts happen with all planets and stars, whether or not the entire orb actually flips, I have no real proof of that. the part about a pole shift that I am interested in is that the Magnetic field goes to zero point prior to the flip...it is at this juncture that the sun could do the most harm. I predict that at the very least, our gps systems will go defunct if the sun has another solar maximum similar to the last one. Plus the fact that solar storm maximum cycles have correlated with modern warfare...could mean that our army, navy and airforce will be flying blind. These are all things to take into account when we plan our childrens future for them. I'm glad you read some books about new age stuff, cus an educated opinion is far superior to the alternative.

    mahalo for your aloha mobil

I saw movies of the big quake and lived through tsunami alerts on the Oregon Coast where I was living at the time. and yes that was a big one! Melt Water is a cyclical event on earth, there is tremendous information available to help us understand what happened the last time we had a Melt Water 12,000 years ago. I study past and present paleoclimatology bc i find that as interesting as the esoteric information that I study. The exciting part of studying these simultaneously is the correlation between energy exchange systems and the physical manifestation of that energy. To me science and spirituality are not two separate studies.

The notable swarm of earthquakes that started December 26, 2008, beneath Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone National Park has stopped for now and may have ceased entirely. Geologists and seismologist remain on alert.

This sequence of more than 500 seismic events was most intense on December 27, 2008. The sequence included sixteen events of magnitude 3 to 3.9 and approximately 70 of magnitude 2 to 3 (as of Sunday afternoon, Jan. 4, 2009). Visitors and National Park Service employees in the Yellowstone Lake area reported feeling the largest of these earthquakes.

No damage was reported within Yellowstone National Park. The swarm was in an area of historic earthquake activity and was close to areas of hydrothermal activity on the lake floor. Similar large earthquake swarms have occurred in the past at Yellowstone, without triggering steam explosions or volcanic activity."

I have been following the tremors in the Yellowstone area thru the University of Idaho site. What is disturbing is that harmonic tremors, signs of rising lava have been continuing non stop and have picked up again today along with tectonic earthquakes. Their appears to be stronger activity in the western Montana area. If this continues very long we could be in for a bigger event. I do not feel that the public would be notified before a major erruption, if that were to occur, becuase of the size not many people would be able to get out of the way. Also if it did not happen with an alert put out the disruption it would cause would have many damaging effects.
  • andora said on Jan 10, 2009....
kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't, huh applebee?

no one that i have spoken to here at SC follows earthchanges much...i think many people have allowed themselves to feel shame about fearing major disruptions bc of the way y2ker's were depicted at the turn of the century. I understand the criticism with those who are always screaming "the sky is falling, the sky is falling!", however, the Melt Water event that IS happening now, is a fact, not a doomsday scenario. So, I appreciate your input applebee, bc I am tired of getting criticized for trying to warn people about the dynamic climatic shift that we are all just guessing about. No one knows if this event will escalate or petter out, and....it is good to be well informed, especially if you are living at sea level, near a volcano, or near the edge of any of our tectonic plates. Its all shifting and our magnetic field is approaching 'zero point'. not something to joke about. there are things that individuals can do to prepare for disruptions of goods and services, but they don't want others to ridicule them - i guess that's worse than starvation after all!

thanks for stopping by to give some insight to this, and I hope mobil is right about this being a false alarm, but if the sun begins to have CME's the caldera at yellowstone, along with every other volcano on earth will experience new activity. The 'Ring of Fire' is coming on course and the media only talks about this AFTER THE THREAT IS PASSED! just like that asteroid that did a flyby within the moons orbit of earth. the media only talked about it after it did the flyby. so, it is good to do our own investigations as you mentioned. i respect that.
