So after picking up George at the office I decided to take him to go see the bay and stretch his legs. (oh wait, he doesn't have any!) Errrr, to see the bay then. I headed out to the bayside trail that I used to live near. The closer I got to it the thicker the fog was. We bundled up and took a long walk.
It was pretty chilly, so afterwards I took him to my favorite bookstore. We grabbed some coffee and I took him upstairs to show him a series of books that I thought he might be interested in.
He thought it was funny much to my relief. Sometimes I take a joke too far. We browsed the store for a while but then became hungry for a bite to eat. I think the trip was long for George, I heard his stomach growl. (wait! he doesn't have a stomach!) Er .... he told me he was hungry.
We headed down to McDonalds for a late lunch. I would have taken him some place nicer, but he's not independantly wealthy, doesn't have a job either, so we were counting on my budget. He didn't seem to mind though.
We wandered around the mall a little and then dropped by the office to check email and wish a few SCers a Happy New Year. We headed home, and as soon as M had left we settled in for a quiet evening.
You can barely see him, but he's sitting on the love seat with a glass of wine watching the fireplace. If I had known him better I might have let him hold my hand. (oh yeah, he doesn't have hands) He behaved like a perfect gentleman.
At midnight I was safely tucked in bed, George tucked into my purse safe from Satan, and Satan had snuck onto my bed and was snoring.
I lead such an exciting life!
