  I might be able to do that!  This is the first time in over 6 years that I've worn something other than jeans or slacks.  My ex boyfriend forbade me to ever wear a skirt or dress to work.  I'm taking back the right to look feminine at work.

  The very coolest part of the whole thing is that the skirt is too big!!!! Yay!!!!  I bought it a few months ago, hoping to use it and I've lost so much weight in the past couple of months that it barely still fits!!!!!!!!

  Lu - yup!  In fact I bought some over the knee long black socks with bright blue trim on top to show off the occaisonal "flip" of the hem above the top of the boots.

  Lu - It's about an inch above the boots, but the blue stripe is about 2-3 inches above the hem.  It's really kind of cool to have socks this long.  Nearly like thigh high pantyhose but much warmer.

  Now thats one thing I do have is a black tight wool knit dress, just above the knee, low neck line of course.... with boots it would look positively dangerous!

  You go girl!  For the cold we'll toss on a scarf or wrap and some textury socks or tights!  Maybe even a hat or cap and then go drinking coffee and baileys at some swanky bar.

  winters - I'm a little paranoid about wearing short dresses.  I have this large scar on one knee from a surgery.  I'm still working up the nerve to do an honest to god short dress.
