nooooooooo, sorry rupe, I wish i was from there tho!! all that sunshine!!! and we could hook up for coffee!!! great to see ya back around here dude!! xxxxxxxxx
Desty......greeting M'Lady! Sunshine you say? I remember one year in which the temp ranged between 110F and 121F for 10 days in a row! TRUE!!! when it dropped to 100F, we all thought - the cool change at last!!!! Is that sunshine enough for ya??? On the other hand, I remember the washing freezing solid on the washing line, back in Ashford Kent England, when I was a kid. And "Jack frost" drawing on the windows of course!! Ever been to Kent? My Dads parents lived in Dover, mums parents lived in Larkhall, in Scotland. Catch ya!!
I know a few people from kent :-) I know dover too, and of course cornwall!! (or was it devon??) down south anyways!! you had a picture of a street I swear I have been too!! its a small world huh :-)
so rupe!! what have you been up to absent for so long?? xxxx
Desty - would that picture be Clovelly in Devon? I have been there but not to Cornwall, though that is where my knobette head (EX wife, Susie) comes from!!! a place called Lisguard (spelt wrong, I know.) Small world for sure. Hey, it might shrink enough for us to have that coffee one day lol!!! What have I been up too - Hmm...rupeish things mostley!!! :-)) Met a wonderful African lady online (not romantic, plutonic is the word but i don.t know how it is spelt!) anyway, she introduced me to her sister, and to one of her friends, and the three of us chat a lot using emails and Yahoo messenger. I spend a lot of time with them and really enjoy it. And what about you? How is life for you these days? XXXX
