Hamas, is a terrorist organization that has vowed to destroy Israel at all cost. This is of course after Israel handed the Gaza strip over to the Palestinian Authority in 2005 then in 2007 Hamas violently seized control of Gaza from the corrupt Fatah party run by Mahmoud Abbas. Israel has maintained they do not want to retake Gaza, they just want the rocket attacks to stop.
Now there is condemnation from all over. From Egypt to Jordan, Syria and even France. French President Nicholas Sarkozy said the Israeli attacks were "disproportionate." Arab protesters in many countries are waving Hamas flags and scoffing at Israel.
I wonder if Hamas was launching rockets into France would Sarkozy call for a proportionate response? Why is it Hamas is a despicable group of terrorists who mix radical nationalism with religion and have written anti-Semitism into their charter allowed to continue this charade of attacks? After these useless attacks kill someone and then Israel responds suddenly Israel is the bad guy.
This conflict is never going to end until the world recognizes who needs to be conquered. Hamas should be seen as a parallel to Nazi. Hamas should be shunned, destroyed, conquered, and then tossed into the shit pile of history with the Nazis and Al Qaeda and Saddam's Bathists etc. This ridiculous notion of peace is just piling up more corpses. You cannot make peace with a group that refuses to accept even the existence of another neighboring group. What I would like to know is where is Jimmy Carter?
