If he's truly a god then of course he's not dead.  Death is a human trait.

He's not dead, just struggling with his female counterpart...makes him seem as if he is missing in action (the word 'seems' is the real variable here)

    and boy is She pissed

He is gravity and she is dark energy. He pulls and she pushes...we be in the middle confused as hell...I'm guessing that they are about to get their shit together and help us out of our confusion after all. I'm patient and have way more faith than ever - works for me

did you know that people who have faith in a loving creator live about 20% longer than those who have no faith in love or a creator? My faith comes from experience, not from some ungrounded dogma about who or what god is. HeShe proves this to me everyday in my  garden. And God loved the world so much that he carpeted it in green love called chlorophil. Looking for unconditional love? look no further than the plants around you...they love endlessly and without condition - the proof of a loving Creator

check out the movie "the secret life of plants" if you want proof that God/Goddess is alive and well

    merry Christmas mixednuts

I believe that there is a God.  I survived three out of four overdoses without medical attention somehow.  I know that it wasn't my time, or he would have let me go.  He wouldn't have almost struck me with lightning the day after the last overdose if he wasn't pissed off at me either.  I hear a calming voice in my head from time to time.  I believe that it could be him because I never used to treat myself in that way.  There's at least one God.

You may be surprised that the western concept of god originated from the ancient "hearth gods." An excerpt from Roman Culture and the Aeneid:

    Edith Hamilton writes:

Every Roman family had a Lar, who was the spirit of an ancestor, and several Penates, gods of the hearth and guardians of the storehouse. They were the family's own gods, belonging only to it, really the most important part of it, protectors and defenders of the entire household. They were never worshipped in temples, but only in the home, where some of the food of each meal was offered to them. There were also public Lares and Penates, who did for the city what the others did for the family. (64)

I think god is a fascinating topic for discussion.  The idea of a god is very tempting in a universe where there are so many things we do not understand.  God did it. He made it and that answers any question that may arise.  However I am happy to know there are many things I simply do not know the answer to.  I don't crave to know everything. That is a lot to expect.  In time we make discoveries and a bit more of the mystery is revealed.  I assume in time we will know more and more.  Whether we will ever know everything is irrelevant to me.  I do not need to know why we are here or if there was a beginning or not.  But if I must know the answer and it is not forthcoming then a god come in very handy.  It solves all those unanswered questions.  The trouble is though, that god does not always share those answers with us and we get the "he works in mysterious ways" bit. That is so annoying don't you find?  I do.

The best thing is just be patient.  All will be revealed in time.  Just don't ask what time that might be. There does not have to be a reason for it all.  Just accept it.

He's very much there, and very much part of my life.
As a child I grew up in a Christian household, but rebelled against it as teenagers do.
Last year I got severe clinical depression, hospitalised, and found Him again - and I believe despite all the meds and therapy, He was the one who got me through it. It was a long hard road to recovery, but He was there with me.
Do yourself a favour and read "The Shack".
    Its an awesome book.
He loves you. He loves me. Find Him.

Before I go on to discuss the topic I will like to let you know that you are a unique being with unique qualities. You are wonderfully made by God the creator, loaded with potentials...
Did you read the blog entry below about Adam's transgression? Now read this: How does Jesus define righteousness? It it obedience to the 10 commandments? Is it some sort of formula that we have to follow?...
Have a Godly time!

As Christian's we learn that the just shall live by faith alone, so what is faith and how do we get it....
You do not have to live in bondage to things that you have done in the past nor things that others have done to you. Set yourself free through none other than through the Lord, Jesus Christ....
