A poor mans christmas tree!

Ok I did it we made a poor mans x mas tree..
And the  cool things is my daughter had in the top of her closet a box of tree fixins from my mother.... and 1  string of  blue light...
I would of put the lights on it but  fear i may  have  a large melted stinky mess i laid them on the floor....
the kids got 2 pillow cases my grandma needle pointed and put them around it... and they fixed it up...
But we  did it...
So who say you need that plastic tree from wal mart or the tree you cut down?
we just hit up the recylce can and put them together with hahah tape lol..
and when  were done  all we  do is put them in  our can to take to the recycle center again...
good thing it iced so we had the bottles.....
hope you get a good  laugh out of our tree.. ar  it makes you all warm and fuzzy!

    It is one of the most beautiful Christmas trees I've ever seen.  It has heart and meaning.  BEAUTIFUL!!!

    kath--- ty hun and it was fun to do... oddly this year i am takeing joy in the not so good times we are all going threw..  its made me stop and think of what matters.  christmas is about gods son. and his birth. and over the years we have turned it into the craziness of omg my parents didnt give me the news cell phone or i pod..
    i rembemer as a kid if i had 5 gifts i hit pay load. and kids now days find 20 plus under the tree. and most are broken in a week..  sadly we buy our kids love. so its nice to get back to the simple things in life.

    oh my goodness! you are awesome! i showed my 12 and 8 year old boy's this picture and they were LOOOVING it!!! they loved it so much that they want to make one next year!!! great job! roflmao :)

    frag---  it was easy they will have fun 1st row up then  down then up up..
    and i used clear tape.lol
    i bet they would have a ball cause all the color ducktape out there
