It came out yesterday, you can google it if you'd like because I'm too distracted at the moment to provide the link, but Caroline hasn't even voted in roughly half of the elections in her adult lifetime.
 
Perhaps the seat should be given to someone who's a bit more engaged in the process.
 
Meanwhile, just one hour outside of Los Angeles this weekend, the weather is like this:

    Sure, jump on the bandwagon without thinking. Listen up, cheerleaders, not voting is also voting. The right and privilege NOT to vote when no valid choices are presented is a valid form of political protest, and you are assuming that Ms. Kennedy hasn't grasped that concept. Imperfect people will never be perfect politicians, let's just aim as high as possible. And her pedigree is impeccable.

    I'm suggesting that you are assuming that because she's rich and famous she "overlooked" voting, "forgot" to vote or just didn't care. There's no way for you to know that.

    Why doesn't someone ask CK why she rarely votes?  I think her family is putting her up to seek the seat; they want to perpetuate their dynasty considering the originals are getting a bit dry around the edges.  She has not been a politico, and suddenly now she is? 
     
    Hm.  That might be a reason to like her.

    Kath - yeah, it might not be bad in FACT but it pisses me off, this dynasty politics. I was not pleased at the prospect of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton ad infinitum - and for an election all about CHANGE I'm seeing all too familiar personnel.
