Google has seemed to become the backbone of the net during the last decade. Google owns YouTube, Feedburner, and hundreds of other major "branches" of the web. How would the internet look without Google?
Perhaps a related question is whether a major commercial corporation is bound to control most of the internet sooner or later, whether Google or someone else.
Is the internet deemed to be bought out and gain ownership from one single organization?
These thoughts keep me up at night.
