Hello ,9Dragon players. Here we'll attempt to answer all your important questions about 9Dragon new stuff in Patch 63.

DO NOT!!!

- Delete characters. It's bugged. Refer to this thread.
- Take off your clan clothes. There's a bug preventing you to equip them again (though vagabond clothes work fine). It is being worked on.
- Trade with players. Items will disappear (they will be back in your inventory upon relog). It's a known bug - refer to this thread. (is this thing still valid?)

The New Road to Dragon Quests

A good idea is to check out the guides that have been posted - they are already starting to come out. Also, loads of threads answering questions regarding their different phases, if you have the patience to search.

Black Clans:
A very complete BoT guide by arctourous (complete version here until moved by mods).
Guide for Sacred Flower by pna1dra6on, contains all the bits where you might get stuck.

No HD guide yet, as far as I have seen, BUT: the quests follow the same structure, sometimes you need to kill the same quest mobs, go to the same places, etc. Spare yourselves the time of waiting for an answer on the forum and read the other clans' guides, it is likely you will find an asnwer there.

White Clans:
Wu Tang quest guide by yours truly, up to EC4.

Again, I haven't seen Shao and Beggar ones but check this one, it might just help finding those mobs or solving those CoF / VoH quests (break the pots! break the pots!)

 New Clothes and Skills

Yes, clans get awesome new clothes. Yes, you get flashy new skills. BUT you don't get them until EC8. That is, after you have completed the RTD3 and RTD4 quests and the second role change (no, that is not after you have received your new epi, but later on. As said, EC8). Even if prerequisites for skills is EC1.

 Restats

Yes, you can restat doing the quest in Hefei if you haven't done so already. No, that quest does not offer Mastery restat.

Yes, you can do a mastery restat. Like previous things mentioned however, it comes at EC8, with the completion of RTD4 quests.

 Mastery

Advanced Mastery is now available. The "all weapons" version is gone, you can only invest mastery points in your clan's primary and secondary weapons, as well as bracers: up to level 20 in basic mastery (1 mastery point / level until level 10, 2 mastery points per level up to level 20) and up to level 10 in advanced mastert (if you have basic mastery at level 20; costs 2 mastery points per level). Also check out the "bonuses" given by advanced weapon masteries. The you have yin / yang related masteries (I'd be glad if someone cleared those up) and specific clan/role masteries. Getting the prerequisite one to level 10 will unlock a mastery skill that is specific to your clan or role. It only has one mastery level and once you have it, you find the skill in your available kung fu list, you can drag it to your quickslot bar to use and level up as any other kung fu skill.

 Marbles

Ok, I have myself lost my marbles  reading threads about the darn things. You get a marble each day as a present. Unlike other stuff you get as present, you can't move them into the storage (and thus on another char). If you accidentally collected a day's marble on an alternative character of the account, send an email to 9dsupport@acclaim.com
You receive Marble no. 7 by doing the restat quest in Hefei.

 Beyond Cheng 10

You can train your skills up to cheng 12 now. Some books are available from the NPCs in your clan base (nukes and smashes), others are drops (heals and buffs). You get Lightfoot from the RTD quest. You need to have the skills trained to 100% of cheng 10 for the books to work as well as, you've guessed it, RTD4 completed. Currently, Lightfoot is bugged, as it will not go over 0% of cheng 10.

 New Drops and Collections

You can check out the new collections pressing L on your keyboard (the Living Tab on your Char screen). You have new resource collections and you have weapon and clothes collections (wan daye ones, as well as from merchants outside cof, voh and in nn/hz, ld and icy). Some of these collections require some of the new stuff you might have been getting as a drop: golden thread, flowstones, pieces of steel. Rule is - low level ones combine to middle level, middle level ones combine to high level, which you use in collections.

You will also see some new items like relics with [good] or [bad] in front of them, as well as weapons with the [new] attribute (these have 3 hardness slots instead of 2, as far as I've noticed)

Another new drop is the Statue of Qilin. You can also buy it cheap from NPCs (General Store) - don't be scammed by players selling it. It can be combined with something from the item mall to obtain random stuff. Refer to this thread. Yes, it is a lottery. Yes, chances are you won't like/need what you get. Get over it, stop complaining, no one makes you buy lottery tickets in the first place.

 Refinement

Firstly, now you can refine weapons up to +12.

Secondly, you get refinement materials from the daily gifts. They DO NOT modify success rates (eg. do not guarantee your refinement will succeed). And they are NOT bugged. You might wait a little to use them, until server time also acknowledges that it's their "day" to be received as a gift - remember you might live in another timezone than the acclaim servers and though your clock says you can get them, server clock says you can't yet use them. (Refer to this thread).

Thirdly, the hot topic of the moment. Dragon Tears and Dragon Scales. They are available in the Item Mall. Yes, the price is insane - live with it. Dragon Tears will add hardness slots to your weapon, ONCE per weapon (the little white bars) so you can now have weapons with up to 0/5 hardness instead of 0/2 or 0/3. Dragon Scales "colour" those slots, they add the hardness in itself. As long as a weapon still has a coloured slot (hardness > 0), it will not break during refinement. You keep your weapon even if refinement fails. However, you do lose all your BE from the refining material and no, chances of success are NOT improved, that is not what they do. You just get to save your weapon. A thread explaining refinement success rates (for ordinary non-blue, non-green weapons) by margeman2k3 can be found here.

 Defense Bug

Patch 63 came along with a defense bug and bugged weapon stats, including weapon requirements. Meaning, among others that mobs are/seem harder to kill and you might get EW from mobs who didn't use to give you EW. Please refer to this thread.

If I can think of anything else to add, I'll do so later on. Don't be shy to do the same.
