First, I couldn't help but feel that slight bit of excitement upon going outside and walking on the crunchy ground. Although there was no blanket of snow, just a small layer of sleet and ice, but for us, it's the first accumilation at all. It's that ritual "beginning" of the winter season for me. It kind of made me excited about snows to come ... but then the other part of me that is petrified of driving in it goes NO NO NO! Also, I don't want snow because my husband has to work 12 hour shifts in it and he HAS to drive to work for that shift or else he can get suspended for 3 days, no matter what his reasoning. He got into an accident last year ... so I'm extra worried this year.
I've been at it again ... enjoying my animals. I took a couple pics in fact. Here's one of them ...

I seriously wish I could get that comfortable. That's my lil yellow kitty by the way. I just really enjoy looking over at him when he's in one of those entirely too cute, comfy positions. I don't care how big, old, whatever, the cat gets ... he'll ALWAYS look cute, lol. He's really cute when he gets made and scrunches up his little face. It just makes me feel at peace to look at him.
Then there's this picture ...

This is one of my dogs. She's the one that's german shepherd/husky/malamute/chow and a surprise breed that I shall not divulge. I had to bring her in the house last night because of the weather. She's been really well behaved, has not picked up ANYTHING that wasn't hers. Hell, she hasn't picked up what IS hers either ... her chewtoy on the floor, in her reach, has not been touched. She has not made a mess in the house. She has not jumped up on the bed. She has not harassed the cats. She's being perfectly well behaved and quiet. My dad thought she was going to be a terror. Well she's going to be 4 on X-Mas Eve, she's been in the house plenty in the last 4 years, she's learned. I don't know why he always assumes she'll behave so badly. Well, I do ... her tail has a mind of its own. While she's lying quietly, behaving ... or walking through to go outside to potty ... her tail is wreaking havoc on anything it can reach. That isn't her fault though, and it's not like she's thinking to herself 'Muahahaha, I will not chew anything but I will wipe everything in this room out with my tail. BWAHAHAHA perfect plan!' The most that dog is thinking is 'OMG OMG OMG we're going outside?!' or 'OMG OMG OMG you're pettttting meeeee!' lol. She's not dumb, but she LOVES attention and she LOVES outside ... all the rest is just technicalities.
Anyways though ... I've also been having fun with a site I found the other day. But first, before I give you the link to the main page ... you HAVE to go here if you'd like a laugh. If you'd like to find more stuff like this, and not just all for Christmas, go here. Free wav downloads ... LOTS of fun. I've been enjoying the hell out of this and I wanted to share it. If the links don't work let me know and I'll just manually paste 'em in here and you can type 'em in or copy and paste or what the hell ever you'd like to do, lol. I have been in tears laughing at some of this stuff, and the results of it ... animal sounds made in the room with 2 cats and a dog ... holy crap I almost peed myself and got my dog beat up by the cats in the process.
