My astral projection experience started when I was about 16 years old. This excludes my first astral projection experience when I was only about 4 years old.
My astral projection experience (1)
I awoke to find myself hovering above my body about 3 feet. I seemed to have an electrical body or light body. The room was dark but I could see clearly, almost as if I had 360 degree vision. I felt no fear but rather a sense of exitement as I hovered there. I wanted to lift up further but as I tried, I felt myself sinking down towards my physical body and a few instants later I was back in my body.
I told my older brother about it and he told me it was Astral projection."Cool" I thought. I'd like to do that more often and for longer.
My astral projection experience (2)
It was about a week later that my second astral projection happened. This turned out to be a scary experience. I awoke at about 4:30 in the morning with a strange vibration filling my body. It felt like every cell in my body was vibrating and, naturally, I was quite disturbed by it. I tried to call my father, but no sound came out. I got up out of bed (A thing that, according to most books on the subject, would be impossible) and as I stood beside my bed, I noticed that the clothes I was wearing were the same as those lying on the floor. The vibration was still there and unpleasant (I have since learnt that the closer one is to the body, the lower the frequency of the vibration). I turned to see somebody lying in my bed. Obviously it was my body. The strangest thing then happened. I fell asleep, outside my body. I dreamt I was at school, tried to strangle my english teacher (all the time mildly aware of the vibration) and as I drew my hands back to stop from strangling him, began spinning around and around till I awoke back in my body. The vibration was still there yet much milder than before. By force of will I managed to push the vibration down and away from me. It made a ringing sound as it passed by my ears and down into my naval. It was a tough job getting rid of it and it frequently swelled up again, going past my ears several times as I pushed it away.
My astral projection experiences after this one have been rather unspectacular and I frequently suffer from astral blindness. I also sometimes get my head stuck inside my physical head which makes it impossible to really do anything, you know, feet on the ground and head on the pillow with a lot of confusion. Maybe one day it'll come right. That's Astral projection for you.

Hey, congratulations! You've had quite some interesting experiences. I've had a few of these experiences myself, and am periodically trying to get better at it; i.e., to have more projections at will and have more control over them.

I just wanted to note that those vibrations are perfectly normal; they can seem scary/unpleasant at first but they are really a very good sign of projection, and eventually you can get used to them, control them better, use them to project at will, and even enjoy the sensation. If you need to get rid of the vibrations, I find the best way is simply to feel / think about the physical body and concentrate on that. The vibrations will cease, and you will be back to normal.

Also, getting stuck at the head is very, very common. My own problem is often getting stuck in the torso, but getting stuck at the head is more common. Again, the best way to get rid of this problem is to become more adept at controlling your vibrations. The point is not to push the vibrations away, but to be able to manually move them up and down your body, while being able to increase the rate of vibration at will. The faster you can get your vibrations to go, the more likely you are to project. So, if you are stuck at the head, you can move your vibrations up to your head and speed them up, which should help loosen your astral head from your physical head.

I'll definitely give that a try. I know now what that vibration is but at the time I was totally ignorant. What I did notice though was that my heart was beating rather slow at the time. I checked it in the morning and my pulse rate was 56. I figure that if you die your heart stops so if you slow your heart beat down a lot then you stand a better chance of getting out. Simple logic but I suspect it may have some relevance

That's quite logical, actually! 56 is a good resting pulse. Lemme know if any of my tidbits help... :)

one night i dreamt i was vibrating like as if all my cells were vibrating, and i started to separate from my physical body...slowly, slowly until i was sitting(still vibrating) on my physical body. as i tried go get farther away from my body, i was sucked back in and somehow teleported in front of my fat cousin, who for some reason had dark gray skin, yellow glowing eyes and a black aura/smoke emmanating from him. he spoke something i didnt understand and i woke up

hey! i've got a question for any astral projector willing to help me :D For some time now, i have been trying to astral project. so far i have reached a state of body asleep/mind awake. In that state my body feels really relaxed, almost paralyzed. i can also feel some kind of energy/tingling thing, which i can move to most of my body at will. However, i cant seem to increase that feeling to make it vibrate. I have tried several techniques but i just cant get to the vibrating state. I've been trying it for almost 2 months now everyday. I might just be impatient, but if someone can provide me with some answers on how to get to the vibrating stage it would be great! Ooh, 1 more thing. Have you ever met any other astral projectors while astral projecting? And then later met this person in real life? .. Just curious..

well this are my experiences the first time I always dreamt the same dream, that i run slow but very very slow and i was running with all my forces, then days laters i was in bed and my body start vibring i was so scared i tried to scream to my father but i couldn't make any sound the (still vibrating) then i try force that vibration by exerting all my force to wake up of bed but was impossible even my respiration was cut off i could not breath it was very scary i just stay calm praying and suddenly wake up the next morning. This both experiences still were happening i run slow and my body vibrate, so i tell my father he said to me that was astral projection, so he tell me that i have to try to wake up in the dreams were i run slow, i always have the dreams of running slow but i never try to wake up i completly forget of waking up but one time i was in the dream running slow  and i said to myself "wait Damian this is just a dream wake up" and i was counsious in the dream i was totaly happy but suddenly i change of dream and i was dreaming another thing, in the morning i told my father and he said to me that i change of dream because, the astral projection has like traps and it wasnt easy to go directly to astral projection because we humans are not preapre to witness the other dimensions that exits, and he told me that that dream was going to be locked up because i already found the way to wake up and in fact is very very seldom that i dream that dream again, after that i still have the vibrations and i always was trying to do all the force to wake up of bed but the same my respiration was cut off is very scared when you can not breath and i start feeling fear of that but my father told me that i should not have fear that fear was the greates enemy and could lock forever the astral projection, a month pass when again i have the vibrations but this time i have no fear and i have research of astral projections and vibrations occurs becase your leaving your physical body so i try to leave my body but i may still be doing something wrong because i still cannot get out of my body but now i think i can get the vibration on purpose the problem is leaving my body its hard. my father said that if i didnt saw anything after the vibration and in fact i have dreams, dreams that seen very very real, and he said to me that those dreams were important because maybe were some sights to other places, but when he ask me of what i see in the dreams i didnt remember so he told me that i must have a pencil and a paper to write this as soon as i get back to the physical body in every moment

It is harder to share pain than it is joy. Sometime with the help of friends and family, we endure our pains. But sometimes we have to stand alone. But if you maintain a postive outlook and endure cheerfully, we will find more company along the way....

Happy Thanksgiving From Me and Abe, At The Cosmic Cafe'!

I hope we all remember why we have Thanksgiving Day off here in America! We owe this day of grace and thanksgiving to Abraham Lincoln and of course...
Many Americans think of Thanksgiving as a wonderful time to celebrate getting out of school for a long weekend, and eating a great dinner. Or, maybe they think it is the start of the Christmas holiday season. What is the real meaning behind Thanksgiving?...
