  I think he'll pick Hillary as she picked him but wouldn't there be some sort of line of sucession? And I think your getting your hopes up. I think this got no further than O's chief of staff who he might have to sanction or fire and this was also about his congressional seat that will be vacated when he takes the job with Obama but he hasn't passed conformation hearings as of yet so what are you worried about D6?
   
  Either way these politicos are all alike and we all know that they are no different it is the way they play the game. It's called Politics. But here we thought we had a man who was so fresh to it that he still had a shred of integrity left. Sad this might prove  untrue:~(

  Here's the thing, Blag isn't going to go down without taking a bunch of other people with him; thereby reducing his own sentence.
  They're already painting him as a nutcase; no surprise there as he probably is; BUT they already had to  know that he was one before the fact.
  My husband knew dirt on Spizter way before those sex stories broke in the press.
  Everyone knew he was a hot head and a looney.
  The press; except for the NY Post and a very few others, covered his ass for a long time.

  Today they are saying that the only contact occured with Ephriam(O's chief of staff) and it was to give a list of possibles who could fill Obama's seat and hold the party until election time 2010. This is not unusual to me for someone to recommend someone that can do their job. There was then also talk of the seat that Abram himself would be vacating and this is possibly what we've discussing. Which has nothing to do with Obama then.

  It was said he wanted to figure out to find a way to have something to do with that appointment too but the house of Congress does that and he has no say so. Play to pay isNOT o.k. when it involves money. It's one thing to do it to form political alliances if it is to the benefit of the place you represent but to do it blatantly for monetary gain sucks. Either way Chi towns' politics is strange as I've seen a list of things this morning on the weeklys that made me shake my head.
