WHAT WOULD BE UR ANSWER TO THIS?
You have this friend since elementary and after college;
then both of you lost contact with each other.
But she is someone really special to you,
and you are someone very special to her too.
Five years later you receive a phone call from her.
"Hi, I'll visit you" she says. "Hi, Leah, when?" you ask her.
"Just wait for me" she replies.
It seems weird but you prepare for her coming anyway.
One rainy night you hear a knock on the door. And
you're surprised to see that it's your friend Leah.
Losing touch for five years is so long
and you start talking about everything.
The both of you even go to your room upstairs.
Suddenly there is a power outage,
but the two of you continue talking by
candle-light.
Then the phone rings. "I'll just get the phone downstairs," you say.
"No, don't get it, we're in the middle of our talk," she says.
"It might be important," you say.
"Okay if you say so, but promise me you'll be back," she says.
You promise her a million times that you'll be back.
Then you run downstairs to answer the phone.
"Hello," you say.
"Hello," says the person on the line.
"Yeah?" you say, wondering who it is.
"I'm calling on behalf of Leah's family.
They had an accident and her parents are in the hospital right now," he says.
"How are they?" you ask.
He continues, "They are injured but stable.
But I'm sorry to say that Leah died.
We found your name and phone number in Leah's purse..."
his voice trails off as you look up at the long stairs.
WOULD YOU GO BACK AS YOU HAVE PROMISED? TELL Me ,what would your reaction be ?

Heartwalker, was this a real story? Sounds chilling to me, but she must really be someone special for her to appear before you and strike a friendly conversation.
Of course, I'll run up to the stairs back to her and see if she's still there. I'd like to find out the details of her accident, why she came back and what it is she needed from me.
If she was special and meant a lot to me, I would tell her things I need to let her know lest I finally lose that once in a lifetime chance to say it forever.

it is fiction, of course,... Awww... I think I must put a caption for my stories stating that it is fiction and it is fact, I have been mistaken more than once before,...so, from now onwards, I shall put in brackets as to what is fiction and what is a part of my life...
as for stardom,.... I know that fame is a fickle figment, I aspire for good quality and know that there are good bloggers like you in Sc who appreciate substance over mere form...and your posts are a testimonial for that.Thanks buddy for the encouragement.

I think so too, I will go back, for helping her to re connect with me, and for finishing her karma off, ... I know that Ghosts can't harm ppl, atleast strong minded ppl, only the weak in mind and children, need to be protected.
It depends on whether the spirit intends to do good or bad, there are loving spirits... like our friends and relations, who look after us after they have finished their karma,...they are what is popularly known as ANGELS.

I would definitely go back, as per LG's reasoning. Also, I try not to make a promise I won't keep, even if circumstances change. I would rather face something scary and be true to my word.

I might or might not have answered the phone in the first place.
If I had, I would just go back and finish the conversation. The friend already knew what the phone call was about.
I have a few stories like this of my own.

I have heard a similar story, yes I would go back, the spirit has come to me for a reason and I would have to go back, because she may never rest if I didn't.

What would you do if your phone rings. The number is from a friend who was recently passed away. When you go to her house. Her mother told you that she tought of you so much and didn't know how to contact you. She needs to pass to you some belongings of your deceased friend. It was your friends wishes before she passed away. This is a true storu. And the number that appears in the handphone is no longer being used and the handphone was also MIA.
