Being intensely interested in poker and watching games weekly on television, I’ve decided to start my own poker night with my friends and neighbours. It sounds like a great idea, and I‘m very excited. However, there are a few factors which my negatively effect my plan.
1. I need to learn the rules for poker games, I mean; I can play Texas Hold’em just fine because I’ve seen it live on TV so many times. But, as for the other games, I cannot truthfully say that I know the rules of the games. So today, I m taking some time here to find a reliable source that can educate me on the rules for poker games.
It makes sense to me that I find the rules on a site that allows me to practice at no cost. This way I can apply the rules I’ve learned and get some practice under my belt, and then when it comes to a real game with my friends and family, I will be prepared.
A co-worker recently suggested to me that I check out www.300chips.com, as they offer page after page of rules for all types of poker games written in plain English, which is a huge help considering I don’t yet fully understand the lingo yet.
*Update*:Well after checking out several pages of rules for poker games on 300chips, I am ready to test out my skills online. I’ve downloaded a few different poker games and am looking forward to winning a few games. The information was great; I feel very comfortable with my understanding of the rules of multiple poker games and am confident that when I play my friends and family I will win some money! I am really looking forward to playing on weeknights with my friends, or even playing online once I develop my skills a little more.
