After about 2 months w/o my laptop I started to really miss it though...only because all of my music is on it. So, I got it back like 2 weeks ago, and I've been fervently burning mixed CDs (my Ipod broke like 8 months ago) for my disc man.
Which leads to the topic, rockin' out at work. Which is what I'm doing right now. Kinda bored because by job can be that sometimes. BUT then I throw in one of my CDs and start dancing in my cubicle and making an ass of myself. Whatever- I do what I want.
I made the two CD's I'm listening to this weekend, and I named them My Emo V.1 and V.2. Thing is, they're not REALLY emo. Which got me thinking, what IS emo, anyway? So, what to do when you have this kind of philosophical dillemma? Google it!
The best site by far was called Urban Dictionary. They had many definitions that I found useful, though they kind of threw me out on my ass as far as being into Emo shit goes. OK, I've got the Dashboard, and I've got side-parted bangs. I think that's it though. Anyway, if you want, check out, other people's definitions here:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=emo
I like definitions number 1, 2, 5, and 9. The best comment on the page was by far:
girlfriend: C'mon, lets have sex.
boyfriend: I'm too sad to have sex.
girlfriend: I'm sad too; lets have sex and cry.
boyfriend: I'm already crying.
I digress. I guess cause Emo is short for "emotional" or "emotive" its all about stuff that makes you feel...good, bad, tired, sad, happy, in love, all that crap. So, without further ado, here are the songs featured on my Emo Playlists.

Maybe this will inspire a friend/reader to download a forgotten about song...if so, good for you. Don't be embarrassed to admit that you like a couple Kelly Clarkson songs too.
