Spend the weekend hanging with the family, doing the parade thing and putting up the tree. Went to Target tonight. That was, well, wild...lol. I just wish my hubby didn't have to work weekends. It's more fun when he's home with us.

 

The girl child and I made a chocolate pie tonight. I like to cook with her. She's funny.

 

Watching the Amazing Race tonight. It's the end. I can't believe the frat boy team is still in it. They've gotten lucky. I want the brother and sister team to win. I don't much care for the divorced couple...they're mean and obnoxious.

 

My rabbit is funny. She's been nuzzling us when she wants us to pet her. Cute.

 

Finished reading "Pledged". I so lived that book.

 

The kitten has been climbing the tree. That's lovely.

 

Finished my master's. yay me! I'm quite pleased with  myself.

 

I'm excited about work this week. I have some projects going and presentations to prepare. It's a very welcome change from my former job. I didn't think this job would be as fun as it is. I love it. Who says it's boring being an analyst? lol. I still feel kind of like Chandler from Friends.

 

It snowed during the parade. The girl child was so cute. She had on her pageant robe (over her wool coat and layers) and crown and banner. She rode on a "train" with the town council. She waved and threw candy and smiled and caught snowflakes on her tounge. Ah, the joy of being 6. She had a blast.

 

I've got to finish shopping. I have like 3 gifts so far. I really just don't have time. I need to go this week. I need to probably take a floating holiday to do it. I have 2 that I have to use by the end of the year. I am going to use one for the 26th. I could borrow a vacation day and not have to go back until Jan. 5th...that could be nice. Things to consider... :-)
