So right now the crazy left is foaming at the mouth at the chance to undo every thing they believe to be radical that President Bush has put in place. The infamous Guantanamo Bay prison known as "Gitmo" where some very bad people captured in the war on terrorism are being held is probably first and foremost on the agenda to get rid of.
Gitmo is infamous because of lies. Lies about inhumane treatment, torture, and bunch of other crap that is yet to be proven even after countless investigations. I think the stain on our country was not caused by Gitmo but by a propaganda machine that profits off of doom.
So what I would like to know is: Should we close Gitmo? If we close Gitmo what exactly do we do with the people who are still in there and what do we do with people caught in the future?
Personally I don't care what they do with Gitmo just as long as we don't jeopardize our national security. Closing this prison and bringing these people here is not the solution if the only reason is our alleged moral standing in the world. It doesn't matter what our moral standing is because there will always be people who lie about it. People who downplay the good and magnify the bad and the sad part is most of these people are our own.
So if you were President Obama how would you handle this?
