In the past few months, all I've seen are pigs sitting on their fat, lazy asses in setting "speed traps." I don't have the stats (so don't even fucking start with me)...but to the average on-looker, it would appear that 75% of law enforcement efforts are dedicated to traffic violations. And are they pulling over the crazy asses who are weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating, and generally engaging in road rage? No. They want the speeders, because it's all about the dollar dollar bill y'all. Besides which, patrolling would actually require effort, and who wants to exert effort when you can sit like a sloth,hiding behind some bush (there's laws about how visible a pig has to be when they are setting a speed trap, but who the hell enforces laws against pigs? Other pigs), and lay in wait to harass some poor schlep on his way home.

What really, really fucking pisses me off is how often I have heard, "We just don't have the resources to investigate crimes against animals. We have limited resources and we have to focus on crimes against humans." Bull shit. You have plenty of resources; it's all about how you choose to spread them around. If you cut the speed traps in half by 50%, you could actually do some fucking good in the community.

You'll never convince me that there is one pig who isn't some sad, sad pathetic, probably got picked on in school, who now has this deep-rooted need for power and to wield power over others. It's the one and only way they can ever feel important and empowered.

And the sad thing is that they are here to serve US. We pay their salaries. All that needs to happen is for all of us to stand up and say NO MORE. Demand reform. Do you expect it to come from within? Fucking forget about it. It's called the "blue wall" and it exists and it's why pigs can do whatever they want.

They have way too much discretion--total unfettered discretion. There is no check on their behavior. No manager looking over their shoulder to keep them in line. They can abuse their power all they want as long as they keep it short of sodomizing some poor fuck with a broom handle.
