Making excuses can drive the people around you absolutely nuts. All of the people are depending on you to do something, and here you are making excuses as to why you can’t do it. Sometimes excuses make a lot of sense because they can get you out of things that you have no interest in or desire to do, and if you don’t do them then you will be better off. But, as far as the parts of your life that matter, making excuses will put you in a bad mood. You wake up the next day all stressed out because you did not get what you were supposed to done. Say you needed to go shopping, and you put it off, but you really need shaving cream for your legs. The next day you get up and you can’t shave your legs because you made some excuse to not go shopping. Now you have to think about it again, it causes stress, and your boyfriend has to put up with some hair on your legs. This is just a simple example, and there are more serious matters that we all put off and make excuses as to why we can’t get to them. It is far better to go ahead with it and finish it. You can get way more done, and you can make more people happy this way.
