Soulcast is very much like Hollywood, no Bloggywood, where art imitates life. Where in the world can you probably find an ad that says, come to Soulcast to bare your soul and get paid to write for your craft. The perfect lure for unwitting newbies to try and find their souls searching for luck, fame and fortune to come to Bloggywood.

On the board of green lights, we have the big names of the major Bloggywood stars composed of the list of the most popular bloggers headed by Silverwhisper who is listed as the most popular blogger of them all.

These are today's most bankable stars of Soulcast Bloggywood whom every aspiring star look up to and try to emulate. Tomorrow could be a different story for they could be the has-beens of the blogging industry.

Every blog they post is like a blockbuster movie sure to deliver the action and get the highest in viewer ratings. Their groupie fans show their undying support by unceasingly commenting on their posts as they patronize and watch every move turned out by the major star bloggers.

Popularity has a bitter price as every Bloggywood major superstar is about to notoriously learn. Two of some of our gifted bloggers The Naked Professor and Sithborg has already packed their bags and left Bloggywood in search of greener pastures.

Our major Bloggywood celebrity star Hunter is so realistically surreal and lifelike in his art that he has gained a notorious following of celebrity stalkers. Who would have thought that two of his deranged fans would travel all the way to Kentucky just to stalk their intriguing idol?

Not everyone loves the stars. They are also hated and envied by some. The price of fame and popularity also has its drawbacks, loss of privacy, personal time and uninvited animosities.

The studio production resemblances are seemingly uncanny as Soulcast manages the production site where all the stars assemble and do their thing.

Even FD has had his own fair share of delete and block threats with unwanted senseless hatred for his emotionally stirring declaration of Christian Faith. Time to probably hire me a security expert as celebrity escorts for the stars.

Needless to say, imitation is not the best form of flattery but the highest form of insult, as Jade London the queen of real life soap misery blogs was to find out. She had temporary bouts of depression after an avid fanatic blatantly plagiarized her copyrighted artworks, an act similar to piracy in the theater world.

And of course, Bloggywood wouldn't be complete without the humorous and comical insights of the comedic talents of ALIENated who continues to amuse and amaze the fans with his extra-terrestial mind numbing talents.

All weary writer's eyes are set on the Featured Posts, the biggest blockbuster posts of the week raking in big Adsense money for Soulcast and the featured performers. This is what it feels like to see your work and your name up in the big bright lights of fame and feature.

Everyone battling their brains out for a piece of the Featured Post action in that much coveted Bloggywood billboard of stars. You're only a blog away to hit it big time in Bloggywood, so let all your blood, sweat and tears flow out to produce that major blockbuster work of art blog.

Only thing missing here in Bloggywood are the star's multi-million dollar talent fees courtesy of Adsense which still has to make some sense. This isn't good for Bloggywood since with no major incentive to work, the best and the brightest blogger stars leave Soulcast as fast as they are registered to find better opportunities elsewhere.

And since we've just started, hopefully come May 2007, is the annual star studded Bloggywood SC Awards Nights where the best of the best blogs get nominated to compete and vie for the much prestigious and most coveted Soulcast Blogwood awards.

So is Bloggywood very much like Hollywood, you tell me, are you coming over to find your rising star here in Bloggywood? Are you a has been or a soon to be rising star?

Bloggywood, eh ? coll and nice name, FD...I like the sound of it,... I am not looking for stars anywhere, here or in life... they shine wherever they are... and I also found that all that glitters is not gold, both here on Sc and in hollywood too...

Have a nice day, FaithfulDisciple.... yours friendly Heartwalker

Thanks Heartwalker. Indeed so many things happening but with the hope that in the end everything will turn out for the best. TNP, Sithborg and now Hunter because of deranged stalkers, left Soulcast. But I think it will only be for a while.

Your excellent posts were also missed for a while but great to have you back. You are one of Bloggywood's rising stars :)

It's more towards Bollywood I think. *Can see a smile on Hearty's face* It was nicely writen FD. The idea of having SC Awards is excellent.

'Queen of real life soap misery': is that a good or a bad thing?

It's good to be Queen, right?
  • GMNIMan said on Aug 23, 2006....
    Nicely written FD.

It will be interesting to see how many of us will still be around here come May 2007. New members will come and old ones go. Hunter, CricketSoda, The Naked Professor and Sithborg have all not last the test of time. Then again who knows, they may just return.

I think it would be nice to be among the list of Popular Member featured on the Home Page of SC, but once there I think the pressures of wanting to stay there will begin to tell.

So let the screws turn and let the test begin, but there will be no last man standing here, old stars will go and new ones will rise, so will it be, just like Hollywood!

BTW ayinkurie, it is Bloggywood, not Bollywood. Hah, now I know where you are from!

I shall gladly remain on the "C" list of stardom so that I can relax and feel no pressure to be brilliant. That way, if brilliance DOES shine through, I'll be just as entertained as anyone else.
  • StoneMaster said on Aug 23, 2006....
Damn, it's feeling downright funereal around here this week...I feel like we've had a SoulCast 9/11 or something...
  • FaithfulDisciple said on Aug 23, 2006....
IMHA, Hunter had to take off his blogs to maintain his confidentiality for the security of his family, perhaps upon the advice of Mrs. HBC.

It is better off this way with no addtional stress or distractions to worry him, while he is still in the process of medication. I refuse to acknowledge that Hunter is permanently gone unless he himself tells us so.

But life at Soulcast Bloggywood must go on. Where everyone here is star material in Bloggywood, so as they say in showbiz entertainment parlance, "the show must go on".
  • FaithfulDisciple said on Aug 23, 2006....
Jade: You are definitely the Queen of soul entertainment, as in anything you have to say sparks genuine interest among your loyal viewers. You are so popular that you are so envied by others who desire to be in the same influential position as you are.

GMNIMan: Thanks for the kind compliment. You yourself is a constantly rising star here at Bloggywood. It's only a matter of time before we see your name up in lights soon.

FD, wow what a piece that was, excellent. I don't give a fig about winnng anything but will spend some time deciding what to wear next May on the red carpet....you got room in your limo for us girls?
  • FaithfulDisciple said on Aug 23, 2006....
Sure Mamie it's not the winning that counts but the style. Maybe Van Cleef, Gucci, and Cartier can lend you sparklers and blings to match your haute couture wardrobe.

Hosting by Ellen Degeneres and ALIENated, musical numbers by Pussy Cat Dolls and Black Eyed Peas. Glad you enjoyed reading it as much I enjoyed writing it too.

Ahhh...FD..this made me smile. Thanks. :)
  • FaithfulDisciple said on Aug 23, 2006....
Thank you Zayda, it really is a heartwarming compliment coming from you. I refused to dwell on negativity as I affirm that in life as long as we breathe, nothing is hopeless unless we are resigned to it. :)
  • silverwhisper said on Aug 23, 2006....
FD: you are wiser than me. as always, thanks for a different perspective than my own. i can take some comfort from your peace and good nature.

you've neglected to mention yourself, and that's a shame, as i have long considered you among the leading lights of this place. :>

SW: You are a gentleman among all men. You always are honest about yourself and your friends. I think Soulcast wouldn't be what it is today if not for the likes of everyone; mostly people like you SW and HBC.

But there are rules to be observed in cyber relations, we are being monitored by everyone and that includes strangers and not so well meaning ones. So we should always relate with caution and confidentiality.

In times of difficult crisis, it will always be good to think hopefully of the positive outweighing the negative. The SC Community now realizes that it is incomplete without the very foundation which built it and keeps it going, interactive participation.

Even if it will only be for a while, people do come and go. I only wish they keep the friendship and camaraderie that have been built online from time to time. I'll always be here for you SW and everyone as long as I have the time.

I find Bloggywood to be much like Hollywood. There is a lot of drama here!
I am not coming over to find my rising star here in Bloggywood? I believe I am neither a has been or a soon to be rising star. I am just here, until like everyone else, it is time for greener pastures.

    Great post!
  • FaithfulDisciple said on Aug 26, 2006....
There's something for everyone here at Bloggywood. Fame, (Adsense) fortune and friends, whatever it is one is looking for can be found here.

Surprisingly, I've also found this place to be teeming with potential budding best seller writers such as SW, HBC and even you who may really be a rising star in the real world of popular book publication.

If the Bloggywood community says you can make it here, you'll defnitely make it anywhere. It's beginning to sound like New York, New York!
