  HH:  I disagree with this couple's decision, but I respect their constitutional right of free speech.  I think with time passing, those who disagree with Obama will come to see he is not the boogie man some conservatives make him out to be  I also agree with Terry Long and as time passes the citizens of Huntsville will throgh peer pressure and economic ones will impress on the two motel owners they have made a mistake.

  This cannot have that much to do with Bahlac OhBummer's being black because
  Mr. OhBummer is 50% Caucasian from his mother’s side, and 43.75% Arabic and 
  6.25% African Negro from his father’s side. I just do not get why blacks in 
  America think he is one of them. He is more like me than like them. He is more
  like terrorists that hate us than like them. Anyway, I saw an email about a vet
  that is back in college. He got in trouble for taking down a Mexican flag that
  was flying above (or maybe instead of) the American flag on campus. Now that 
  is disturbing. At least the Confederate flag has some history as representing 
  some American states. Of course, I think that neither should be flown instead 
  of, or higher than, the American flag. Are there not some laws about all that? I
  think I heard the American flag should not be flown at night unless there is a
  light shining on it. There should be other laws covering this and our LEOs should
  have the stones to enforce them. Anyone seen burning the American flag on 
  American soil should be shot on sight. It is either just a piece of cloth or it is 
  not. You cannot have it both ways. If you cannot fly the Confederate flag,
  you cannot fly the Mexican flag. PC cuts both ways.

  Hey Al who was flying the Mexican Flag and why would they on American Soil. And according to this country a drop pf black is ALL black at least according to the ancestors it was check your history books. Blacks have been more willing to except 1/2 cast than their other racial or ethnic counterparts so it is amazig to hear someone like you say he is more like yourself.

  He is no blacker than my son but no whiter either. They are inbetween but true racist can't tell the difference b/c of course they are going by the color of his skin.  But none of this matters and is squaring off topic abit. What matters is this couple is being insensitive to the feelings of others by rasing a flag that holds such a derogatory meaning.

  When people of "color" use color as an excuse, that is quite OK. When 
  "white" people use color as an excuse, that is racism. It is a fact that
  almost all blacks voted for OhBummer. Is that racism? I am a mixture
  of races as well, but none, except a drop or two of American Indian, 
  that would be considered colored. I only bring it up because the fact
  that OhBummer is perceived to be an African American pretty much
  assured the black vote when in fact he is more aptly defined as a
  white American or an Arab American no matter what stupidity was 
  applied in days gone by. As far as your topic, I agree that the 
  confederate flag holds a derogatory meaning to blacks, but it should
  not. Blacks should feel confident that the society that flag represents
  is gone forever. They should also realize that anyone that flies it now
  probably does not really understand what it stands for and are really
  just flying it as a means of individual protest. However, they should also
  realize that most will see it and say "wonder what those idiots are
  thinking". The best thing blacks could do would be laugh and move
  on. Of course, if every other house starts flying a conferate flag or
  a Mexican flag, then we should all get a little more concerned.
