LOL.....too bad...i would have loved to see you on Leno's...just tell me you DO know who is the new president of America....please?

    Btw......Leno wouldn't impress me either..

But...ever happened to bump in the likes of a Johnny Depp or a Daniel Day Lewis?

Now...those two would definetely make me slam against a pole....painfully.....lol.....

Gingersoul... hmm Johnny Depp for sure but I have actually met Daniel Day Lewis and he is possibly one of the most arrogant, misoganistic pricks I've ever had the displeasure of meeting.

he was at our Airport (international) he treated every single person who said hello to him like they were the lowest of dog shit, he talked to people who tried to get autographs like they were lower than the lowest forms of amoeba.  His arrogance actually preceded his nose which was constantly upturned so he could look down and talk down to everyone.

I'm talking the kind of man who stood there while you said wow hi Mr Lewis with a big grin on your face, snear like said prick above, spit on the ground in front of you and walk into your shoulder as he passed pfftting into the air.  He left his car parked in a no parking zone and a parking cop went over to let him know he needed to move on he actually fucking said "Don't you know who I am?" then ashed his cigar onto the traffic cops feet while snearing (obviously his favourite thing to do)

Sorry mOOn some people just piss me off and Ginger just hit the nail on the head with one of those people.. sorry Ginger I got carried away, this was back in the early 90's so maybe he's changed his tune??

Lucy...oh, come on.....what you said doesn't surprise me at all....
I dont have any naive belief that the people we see on the screen are made of a different fabric of ours...some of them might even be decent people ...the majority is not.

That one is a fake world, populated by fake persona. And offering us fake images. I take the fake surface and make my eyes happy.....very happy sometimes......:-)
We are talking about and exclusively mere appearance here.

And based on that and the characters he chooses to portrait in the movies and his enormous talent .......DDLewis is still in my list...

    Let me check again......oh yes.....:-)

ginger - I believe it's that Obama dude...I'll double check...no, haven't come across those two yet but if you look back into my blog you can see who I have encountered, from Spielberg to Bill & Hillary, all the way back to RFK and as recent as Miranda Cosgrove. I'm still catching up on stories to add to the blog. I have a way of coming across celebrities even in the boonies.

santa - thanks for the early appearance.

Lucy - that would sour me to someone as well - no excuse for bad behavior...

dia - Yeah, he's cool and he performs live every Sunday at The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach to try out material for his shows the next week. And some of his guests just show up to try out material for his crowd before they come on, so last time I was there I also saw Roseanne Barr and Arsenio Hall (who I met before that at a kids playground where we were both playing with our sons)...

You know mOOn one of the most fabulous by chance meetings of a celeb I've had is good old Eric Banner, he's such a nice bloke! one thing we are lucky with up here is that Celebs love Port Douglas and the surrounding area's.  Clinton was a regular at the local pub when he stayed, it was when the 9/11 attacks happened.  He was at the pub sipping a beer when he got the phone call, his black men turned up and he apologised to all at his table - mostly locals - there was a complete lock down for 5 km around the resort he was in, the air space for 50 sq kilometres was also a no go zone.  He was visibly distraught.

I have no personal knowledge of that - but I do have a funny story about her that I witnessed backstage at the Kennedy Center that day. I'm gonna do a post on it soon just for fans of the royal family.
