Stilltravel.cn News Riots in Thailand deteriorated today when several explosions occurred in its capital Bangkok. Thousands of protestors surrounded Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and the Thai president is forced to land at an alternative airport. The Suvarnabhumi Airport is closed preliminarily since 9 pm, Nov 25 at local time. All flights to the airport will divert to nearby cities.

Thousands of travelers are forced to stay at the airport as all flights are cancelled. The airport hall is a mess. Reuters reported about complaints from them: John Crushak from Holland said he is now piling clothes and suitcases up as his preliminary bed. He said, It is too bad. I want to go home now. I dont care what happens. Im fed up.

The Chinese Embassy in Thailand warned Chinese citizens on Nov. 26 Chinese of the danger in Thailand at present. Zhang Jiuhuan, the Chinese ambassador to Thailand said in view of the present situation, travelers are advised to postpone their journey.

Stilltravel.cn expects that the protest will lead to great losses in the already stricken Thai travel industry.
