Girls fighting in a schoolyard. Closing their eyes, turning their backs, flailing their arms, thoughtlessly fighting like retards. When they get hit, they pull their face away and to the side, leaving their arms outstretched, their arms not defending anything, not even looking at the attacker.

I just watched the Strikeforce fight between Randy Couture's wife Kim Sugarfree Couture and another lady, whose name I won't mention to avoid embarrassing her. Kim was fighting some chick who can't fight to save her life. You hit her, she turns her back, becomes helpless, doesn't even look at you anymore. She doesn't know what her arms are for. She just sticks them out like an idiot. She's not thinking, not paying attention. All she knows is ow ow ow.

When I watch MMA fights on tv (I'm 58) I always know that I can't get in the cage with those guys, I'd have no chance. Part of me thinks I could beat them in a street fight if I had to, by biting their nose off or something, poking their eyes out, that sort of crap, but I know that in a civilized fight I'd be knocked out or submitted in the first round by any pro fighter, and I'd probably get killed by them in a street fight too if I didn't get in that lucky poke in their eye or good ole knee to the balls a few times.

Even when I see women fighting, like Cyborg or Gina Carano, if I was betting on the fight I'd bet on them to beat me. I really don't think I could take Gina Carano in a cage match. I'm sure her training would win out. I don't get the luxury of spending all my time fucking around with Randy Couture. I have a job to go to.

But this girl that Kim Couture just fought, my God, she wouldn't have a chance against me in a cage match. She sucks. No way I'd let her out of the first round without knocking her out. Which raises the question, do we really want to show women fighting on tv if they suck? I'd make me a 100-1 favorite against this girl. She gets rattled and forgets to defend herself. It's just a girl in a school yard getting beat on.

The truth is, it is interesting to watch this girl get beat up. It's interesting to watch how pathetic she is. It makes for absorbing tv. Something like if she was getting a spanking. It's about on that level. Oww oww.

And it raises the question of whether they should show that on tv. There's something almost dirty about it. Bring some pathetic girl on, watch her get beat up, watch her defend herself like a retard and get punched, then after it's over she cries and holds the part of her face that got punched because it still hurts. Are the tv producers sinking to a new low? Showing us pathetic girls getting a beating.

It's interesting but it's embarrassing on several different levels. The complete ineptitude of a supposed professional. The humiliation of women as a whole. The sexuality of watching a girl get dominated. The only saving grace is that she is in there of her own free will, plus, she can tap out any time she wants. In a sense, she's in control and always was.

All I can say is that was something new, a pathetic girl unable to defend herself, being billed as a pro fighter, being shown on tv.
