Okay I thought I'd qualify why I'm writing this post - I'm okay with the deadlines, I find it exciting, I feel potent and adept. There is one person in this house that doesn't... so I'm feeling the preassure from that aspect. For those who know me, its a kind of "how the hell do I fucking calm him down" seriously, he's freaking out still working at 10pm and won't stop until one job is finished and kind of well.. definitely ((enter your expletive choice here)) feeling the heat. I'm still going too yet I feel the energy of it, the absolute enjoyable OMG this is getting done. He however doesn't.. male persepective maybe? who knows.. definite cry for help post here
Well my pressence here for starters will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks.
Australia - the movie is premiering all over Australia starting tonight in Sydney with the official stars.. yadda yadda, for us this means in one week we will be premiering it in our little international port of Cairns.. yes we'll be there, filming the opening so our stock footage and media releases will be fit for the fucking queen herself in 48 hrs post premier.
Hard work, long hours, lots to organise and when you consider the following? well its gets preassurised to a point of deadline hell.
Muster client - Various media releases including movie premier to attend to not including famil groups to the show which have to be rehearsed as well. We have three films to edit for the CIT market, the FIT market and also the general public as well as agent presentations, print promo marketing, all collateral in place as of Friday.
Coach Client (also linked with transport to Muster client) _ bought out another large company now have to finalise ALL LOGO marketing promo, print, electronic and teaser ads for in you guessed it THREE days. Along with ALL coach on board advertising.. AKA on board film, on bus logo/trailer decals yadda yadda as well as print deadlines that are coming up on Thursday.. eeek
Helicopter client - Web site needs to be complete for film premier, along with industry print, electronic marketing material for industry push (mining, electicity etc) as well as the FIT market.
Hotel - Starting xmas marketing push as well as web up date and cross promo with a resort that was finalised today (the concept not the the material)
Another Hotel ~ Finalising all print promo marketing shit.. fuck it goes on by the end of the month. Just read above for what we need to complete. Fucking hurts my head to write...
Then there is the for me the work xmas party, the owners/girlfriends birthday in one week - need to organise food, entertainment etc.
Ohh should I mention I'm still working myself about 48 hours a week at my NEW job... fucking hell whats my name?
Then there is the real estate we're promoting, mini DVD film as well as web and print promo shit...
I think thats it.. most of the core is done yet we've never been in this situation where at the end of the year we have so many clients with work that needs doing so damn quickly.. we will, we know be working through christmas with bits and pieces which I have to say bodes well for the new year financially which I have to try and sort out this week as well. Got a few meetings on, to finalise costings for all of the above collateral.
There's quite a lot of time and energy spent on it, so pulling it together in a format digestable by our clients is going to take me a few solid hours of head fucking around and shuffling... arggh my least favourite job going into a meeting with a sheet full of figures and then having at the end of it a HUGE mother fucker of a figure sit there like a hot smelly dog shit.. then have to go through again each individual costing so they understand it aint that much at all... ((I'm a master, hubby has been terrible at this shit for years... because I haven't got a problem with knowing what we're worth as a package I have no problem with NOT backing down on sending the invoice))
Anyway, in short BWA HA HAHAHAHA thats life for the next couple of weeks I guess, most mornings I dare say I'll have time to stir shit, give shit take shit and enjoy but mostly time is of the essence right now, about 7 months income is going to come to fruition so I'm focused and needed obviously to focus on that.
