The current incident for Robbert began in the early morning hours of May 6,
2004, when Robbert felt compelled to get his Olympus digital camera and
wait in the living room of his parents' home in Hoeven, where the 24-yearold
lives. Over a period of about 90 minutes, a smoky, faint mist gradually
evolved into an ethereal figure, which, seemed to be sitting on the couch in
front of a photo of Robbert's two-year-old nephew.

This is the fifth in a series of photos reportedly taken by Robbert van den Broeke of
Hoeven, Holland, on May 6. Robbert's two-year-old nephew is in the photo in the
background.

As the image developed, Robbert took photos, without a flash. (The fifth
photo is the one appearing on this page). During the sessions with the
entities, Robbert says there is a strange quiet, something akin to the "Oz
factor" often described by participants in close encounters. He has also
experienced this in crop circles. The next morning, Friday, May 7, about 4
AM, Robbert was again in position, and again the entity appeared and was
photographed. (May 7 was also Robbert's 24th birthday, and once again he
discovered a crop circle near his home on that day.) The sightings continued
on Saturday, May 8, again about 4 AM, but this time in his bedroom, where
he had set up a video camera on a tripod. The smoky, misty image again
appeared, gradually assuming the shape of an alien. As the entity took
shape he recorded it with the video camera. The figure is shown fading in
and out, gradually becoming more structured and somewhat taller and
brighter, as though gathering energy. Continued in the May 2004 MUFON
Journal.

Updates:

VDe Telegraaf, the largest newspaper in the Netherlands, published on
September 4 an article about the renowned Dutch medium Robbert van den
Broeke. Robbert, 24, has already taken thousands of pictures of entities,
appearances and figures. "It's a crime if I don't share this [evidence]. And I
have the feeling this is only the beginning." 12 files full of pictures from
another world. Thousands of negatives were sent to the one hour service; 9
out of 10 he was lucky: "I feel something, an energy, a pressure round my
head and then I take pictures of them. Almost every day."
