  Although the Mormons in their wedding vows, bind their spirits after death.
  
   As a Pagan myself, I am certain that my Soul Mate - or whatever it maybe, when we are married - it isn't just in this life as determined by the earthly laws which some places don't even recognize other places marriages - It is by our beliefs that just because one time ends, doesn't mean a whole new place isn't there for us to expand upon and our love to grow even more with out the binding of that earthly form ^^
  
  
   Unfortunately, Even after i looked online to see what other religions might incorporate the spiritual bond into the vows, i couldn't find any.  I'm sure there are some out there but I'll tell ya hindus are not. The vows sounded earthly marriage. I'm sure that is because of thier reincarnation belief though =)
  
    So the reincarnation brings up the question, If your grandpa was was now your neice's newborn - will he marry the same person again or find someone new? I think that depends on if he was with his soul mate (your grandmother), if so then maybe - maybe not. Maybe he'll find her again, I hope! But everything happens for a reason and maybe she wasn't ready to go back yet, so he experiences life all over again but i hope that spiritually once hes back in the spiritual world - he would recognize his true love and maybe they would do it all over again. Its such an interesting belief that could be repeated for eternity or never repeated again.
