Whew. Okay, cool. It’s over.

 

Wow. After all these centuries. Finally, we’re all equally screwed, instead of being so unfairly screwed in disproportion.

 

One of my people will be President. And by “my people” I mean biracial people. In my use of the term, biracial means “obviously mixed race.” Sure, they call him black, but Obama had a white mom and a black dad. Just like me.

 

Like me, Obama was raised by his maternal (white) grandparents. And like mine, his Grandma was the last survivor of the old generation.

 

Like me, Obama had folks on all sides of the fence. The right side, the wrong side, the black side, the white side. Everyone wanted us to be either black or white, but we knew better. Barry and I were neither white nor black, we were both. We were living proof that racism was a pile of shit.

 

We came from Abolitionists and from the Masters of slaves. We came from slaves and from the explorers from Europe. We arose from the multiplied plentiful copulations between blacks and whites since the first African slaves went aboard Dutch ships.

 

Why, ultimately, did slavery fail? Why did Jim Crow die? Why did Strom Thurmond grow to seem weird? Why did Civil Rights pass and Martin Luther King Day come? And why was Barack elected President?

 

Because whites and blacks love to fuck.

 

Bluntly speaking, there was no resisting the jungle fever. They found each other sexy, and the barrier was broken, one couple at a time. I’m not talking about the rapes or injustice-laden sex. There has always been between them the yearning for mutual consent. Just as I find all races of women attractive, my penis knows no prejudice.

 

I mean, for example, never in history has a first lady had such an ass. Please be realistic, here. Look at that figure. White men around the world want to pump that ass, regardless of political affiliation.

 

I wonder if bondage is as big a sex game in non-slaveholding nations?

    Lucy, the reason I give a..a...huh? You have rats that fly down there? What's that, reverse centrifugal force?? Um...anyway, my point is that it's divisive to call him black, it's an American (at least American that I know of) trait to demand a clear division of black and white - down to the last "drop" of blood. Politically, blacks pressure all people of color to call themselves black, even if they have a white parent. Biologically, that person is only slightly - if at all - more one than the other. I see that as a scientific cancellation of all racist rationalizations. If the "races" were all that different, Barry and I wouldn't exist. We're all interchangable, and for me that's more meaningful than trying to (politically) declare Barack the first "black" president.

    I understand what you are saying comepletely, there will always be a large chunk of society though that will have a deep need to belong to a particular race and espouse their ownership of it.  Since before time I've always thought that there is no true either or race, we are as you say interchangable down to the enth degree. (scientifically I am related to the very first tribes in africa)
     
    I guess here (Oz) its not so much about race as it is about a perception that Obama has in his relative youth succeeded in sparking the imaginations of so many Americans, a new era perhaps? a different perspective, certainly different now with so much uncertainty his own certainty is fresh, desireable and with such a large chunk of society wanting to associate with that, become it they will label him as the first black president.

    ok......I didn't see that coming! lol.....good post mOOn! .....you know....not to point fingers or anything, but have you noticed that it is the left in this country that insists on labeling people by race or a hyphenated American something or other and has to count how many of us are this or that?

    The jungle fever thing really made me laugh.....I used that same term earlier and hadn't heard it in years.....too weird!

    It's been a long standing acknowledgment between Hispanics that the best invention of the Gallegos from Spain.....(they are credited for being the brawn...but not the brains....of the Conquistadors)   .....was the mulatta (mulatto refers to the men).  The half-blood women of white and black ancestry that are so prolific in Latin American countries...specially the Caribbean. 
    Many of them are stunningly beautiful and all have a knock out, to die for, body.
    Mixing the races is a good thing.  :^)

I couldn't resist either and my white husband often talks about that ass. hahahaha. If this was cleaner I would show it to my own biracial children. Your right and I never knew about your nationality. Hahahaha

    And i agree with Lenny....America would have never elected a completely absolutely black president...that black ancestors blood that Obbie-One-Kenobi has in his veins are enough for a lot of them.....lol....

    I mean...they have a line and never cross it. right?.....Look what happened when the vague possibility of having a woman as president began to shape at the horizon....

    Anyway....anytime i mention the mixed thingie to my black fellow coworkers they start to back up and look at me like i have poisoned their coffee....lol....
     
    There is nothing wrong in belonging to a particular race and being proud of your own heritage-traditions-roots...globalism tend to crush the uniqueness of each single culture.....this tendency is way more dangerous in the long run that living in an interracial society (which is the way we live by centuries already) ....

    Yes, I was a bit startled when Obama referred to us as "mutts" - not sure if that isn't the canine equivalent of mulatto - but what the hell. As I said, Get Over It, America. And that includes me.
     
    The really interesting part to all of this is that now it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to ignore racial issues, or to be in denial about the remaining factors of racism around the world or inside yourself. The times are just as scary as they are hope-filled, because things are going to become starkly transparent in this new light.
     
    Obama, again like me, looks "different" but sounds white. I have no trace of "blackcent" or black accent (a little phrase I coined a while back) because I grew up with whites in the Pacific Northwest. People find the combination exotic (hence the 'charisma factor'). But if his nose were slightly bigger, his lips a little thicker and he sounded like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton, we'd all be getting used to President-Elect Hillary right now.
     
    It wasn't until our adulthoods that we "discovered" black culture. He went to Chicago, I went to Washington, D.C. There we found ourselves suddenly "Too white." And also learned about the degrees of racism within the black community. The sliding scale of skin color rivaled the ridiculousness of the Homeland Security terrorist color alerts.
     
    Don't misunderstand, I am not putting down the man himself. His intellect is obvious, his inexperience also obvious, and it's all wait-and-see at this point.
     
    Popeye had it right. You may think I'm just another whitie, or you might want to call me black, but in truth... "I am what I am and that's all what I am."
