trav - yeah, got the aircard working...i ended up having to go into the store and exchange it for a totally different model. the boy working eyed me and tried to tell me that i had to go to the original location i got it at...all the way i across town...i was like..."OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" then he did try and patronize me asking me if i was sure i had it plugged in right and really talking down to me. it was at that point i smacked the box down on the counter, looked at him with wild fraggle hair, and wild fraggle eyes and said.............................."i know what i'm doing here. i installed it, reinstalled the drivers several times, set up the profile, changed to the correct frequency, reset my browser settings, checked the power to my usb port...I NEED A NEW ONE"at that point he slowly backed away, muttering under his breath the whole time, and brought me out a new one. i guess he just thought i was some stupid chic. so when i was walking out he says "have a good evening, i'm about to get outta here and relax" i flipped my head over my shoulder and said "yeah you need to go home and defrag"thanks goes out to all my techie friends :) -
