Dropping in to leave a brief note is all. For those of you who have sent PMs asking about my well being be assured all is good.
Hectic is the word to some degree. Lots of family events happening lately and a whole miriad of trips to Victoria and parts west. Guy and I have a delightful friendship going and he is getting better a bit at a time as far as his health is concerned. He has had a battery of tests and we now know that his physical pain is not anything operable. It is totally created by the trauma he has been through. With the help of the medical world and his own determination he will regain his strength and vitality as time allows.
On the home front, the kitchen is complete with the exception of the ceiling and connection of a few bits of electrical. The main floor bath is finished and just waiting for hook up of the jaccuzzi, shower and sink. (The sink is yet to arrive but the rest will be connected before the weekend.)
One of the upstairs bedrooms will hopefully be completed by the weekend which will allow construction to begin on the master bath. Maybe the new window in the dining room will go in shortly and we'll be able to finish the drywall in there.
Yesterday I went to select paint. Using a wall paper sample, with the assistance of one of the store employees, we came up with what looked like a good color match. It looked great in the can but the smudge I made on the wall with it looks like Kraft Cheeze Whiz! I'm darn sure thats not the color I want but if I can't find anything more suitable we'll use it and hand paint some pimento stuffed olives on it!
