This is the greatest thing that has ever happened to America. Jesse Jackson cried on TV over Obamas win. I cried as well. These were tears of utter joy. We worked hard for this. America is now my home. George Bush is a fuckin pig!

I agree catch! It's a great thing, and here in Europe people are also very happy about Obama's win. The day after he won, the French were going around giving everyone that double-kiss-on-both-cheeks thing they like to do when they're celebrating something! I know the Germans are also happy, and the European news networks are reporting all Obama news all the the time. So we could say he has a global mandate. And it felt so great when they congratulated (and kissed!) all us Americans in the group. It's been a very long time since I've felt so proud. -
