  Hey - if anyone has a bloody right to vent and rant it is you!  Venting is never a waste of time - I think we'd go nuts if we didn't get it out of our system at some point.
  
  When cuppa tells me how much he has to pay for things over there!!  It's daylight robbery!  As for cost of the medical care he has to pay.  He has a serious condition that is leading to a serious operation next year (stemming from spina bifada with complications) and it cripples him physically and financially. 
  
  He told me about the changing of the street names too.  No wonder you get angry mischa.  You vent and rant here all you like so you don't explode.  You have more right than most.

  Thanks girl, I'm glad you  have someone to enlighten you because I know it sounds unbelievable to some.
  Im sorry to hear about your.... sorry didn't get who cuppa is, my english gets a bad glitch every now and again and yes our state hospitals are more disgusting than sewers, id rather die in a drainpipe than in there.

  I'm not sure where you get your news, bc we have a constant stream of politicians going to jail in the US
  
  I can't drive around the island at night where i live because of roadblocks by racists
  
  my children were accosted by the local police
  
  our local police here were rated among the top worst in the nation
  
  and water is being stolen from the indigenous people (the Hawaiians) in plain daylight
  
  there is a slave class that is colored
  
  and an owning class that is mostly white
  
  we have bogus laws that favor 5% of our populace and our democracy was MAIMED by electronic voting machines...in other words, we only have a democracy in name. The people pass laws and the federal gov overturns them without any due process of law
  
  i could go on and on, but if what you say is true (that you live in South Africa) and it is worse than what you perceive to be true about America, then I must tell you how sorry for you i am...we all deserve to live without violence or the threat of violence

  Wow andora!  I had no idea and feel awful about that ignorance!  How do you remain sane in such a society? 
  
  I certainly can't fortell the future but I really do hope the change in the US government on Tuesday will take action on this.  Am I right that Obama is part Hawaiian?  If he does win the elecetion, I wonder if he will look after his own as they should be?

  ? I sensed a bit of hostility there, but ya I'm sorry that I might not know all about America but I do know that our people are running away from here to have a better life there. I had a part time job at a photoshop and we used to take id, passport and visa pictures and I no no less than 20 american visa pics A DAY and I'm not talking about 20 single pictures I'm talking about 20 families per day!! People that are valuable to this land and that are supposed to save us in the election by voting. The people here are planning a war against white people as soon as Nelson Mandela dies. They call it "the night of the long knives" DO YOU THINK WE SLEEP AT NIGHT? We are also a democracy in name only because our ruling party is communist ...COMMUNIST! like the russians and the early chinese - vicious!
  Just thought I'd tell you Andora but ya I'll pray for you too I feel your pain.

  no, i have no hostility toward people of other nations who only see the spin and the hype put out by OUR global media...we have censorship, but it is nothing compared to many places on Earth, i agree with both you and pusscat about the difference between the US and many, many other locations on Earth. Just the same, I will not allow people to continue to misrepresent the problems we suffer in the name of keeping an illusion alive.
  
  really mischavalentine, I would be less irritated if we could be honest about the absolute hypocrisy of the US claiming to be a human-rights leader, when our multi-national corporations and our CIA commit brutal atrocity in the name of freedom and democracy!
  
  As far as South Africa goes, I would get the hell off of that continent too, because the rape and pillaging on the part of whites on that continent has been hideous. Of course the majority of indigenous people are so un-educated and under-served that they see whites as fair game...i agree...i think they are!
  
  as far as keeping sane pusscat, I never presented myself as a sane person...an activist and a provacateur, maybe...but sane? no, i doubt i fit that category

  most people on Earth have no idea what the Indigo race represents, but you mischavalentine are up front and personal with what happens in the root or our own body when we allow the thinking part to make up stories that enable a small portion of people to enslave the majority. Unfortunately mischa, you may have not been party to the rape and pillaging that your race practiced in South Africa, but you are definitely living under the constant threat of INTIMIDATING FORM. It only takes one person to change a nation.
  
  and yes, pusscat, we can only hope that Obama will see the plight of indigenous people...but, that would mean he would have to stand up to very powerful multi-national cartels...
