All around the world, especially on first world countries, are fighting against cigarette smoking. Individuals want their rights. They want their health, too. I am a cigarette smoker and I am concerned about my health very much. I want to quit but I have a habit of transferring my addiction on something else. I don't drink alcoholic beverages but I am addicted to computers. I don't drink sodas or eat junk foods, and I only occasionally eat at diners and fast food restaurants. That is where smoking comes in.
Now, I am troubled on the individuals who want smoking banned or cigarettes abolished. Why are they complaining to cigarette smokers... when it should be their own government be blamed? A government of each country always bring in cigarettes (and alcoholic beverages) to their country. When did cigarettes become the right of the people? When did cigarettes become a problem started by the people? The government is the one at fault here.
Marijuana is the answer. If they legalize it, I would stop smoking cigarettes. I know some of you would. I have never smoked Marijuana but some people say that not a single person died from it. Some individuals (even doctors) say it causes lung cancer and other ailments. Well, give me proof. Give me a community-controlled (no government intervention) research. Don't give me numbers and statistics. Give me live before-and-after scenes and give me real people who will smoke it in front of international television. Then, I'll show my sympathy on your (mostly on the governments) ignorance.
In my city, Marijuana is a bad, bad thing. Once you touch it, or even know the people involved in it, you raise the possibility of your death by 50% (by gunshot/murder involving the government/law). They say it is justice because the people who smoke Marijuana never learn. Well, the government never learns because they think Marijuana is a drug. It is not a drug. It is a plant, like tobacco.
The American government and constitution has a great influence on my country's constitution and being. The Americans banned Marijuana because Marijuana overpowered them. Marijuana made tobacco look and taste like nothing. Tobacco and cigarettes do not really affect my city because we have a smoking ban. Their reason for banning drugs and Marijuana is due to the rich and powerful individuals here. The rich are afraid that their upbringing on their children will be lost to drugs and Marijuana. Also, they have made their own constitution with the government to kill impersonally all individuals, young and old, who are involved in drugs and Marijuana. While you are at it, why not kill the cigarette smokers and the alcoholic drinkers too? Or, is the government afraid of a confrontation on why the coveted cigarette is going to be banned?
Right now, I only smoke 20 sticks of cigarettes a day. My brands are Marlboro (Menthol, Gold, Red), Dunhill (Red), Gudang Garam, and Winston Red. Also, every month I try a different brand of cigarettes. If I would be given a chance to smoke Marijuana, I do not have to buy the name or a brand. I will be buying the product itself.
No more health problems. No more oppression. No more hang overs. No more cancers. No more coughing. No more second hand smoke. No more more-death, No more brands. No more names...
Just bringing out money for the product without extra charges to its name. It is God's name.
Also, Why the heck are you (American government) not printing those special stamps????????
I care for those stamps because, again, my country is influenced by your constitution. If I have that stamp, I have that privilege.
P.S.
Ban cigarettes, beer, and drugs to the extreme. But never ban Marijuana. They are more peaceful than your justice.
