  I was at my husbands birthday party! he's a halloween baby! it was a venue in a valley called Kings Canyon ~ muster/rodeo venue.  BBQ along with of course horse riding, cattle cutting and all round fun! (we don't DO halloween here)

  I live near West Hollywood where the so-called BIGGEST Halloween Party in the world takes place on Santa Monica Blvd. They close the street down for about 10 blocks and the non-linear parade lasts from about 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
   
  Attendance was estimated last night at around 200,000 spooks. It was a car-parking nightmare but I live close enough to walk. Half the fun was getting back home and watching the drunk Wonder Women and Jokers try to find their cars!

  I'd love to, hb went to the US on his birthday once, being an aussie, young (32 at the time) and his birthday he said he had the maddest time! he was on the west coast - says he can't remember much after about 2am but the hangover told him he was utterly shit faced.

  I portrayed a particle accelerator (turning a transparent pool tube into a sparkling, lit-up reaction chamber) as a model of an atom sat upon my head and molecular chains (represented by colored ping-pong balls) adorned my unitarded body.

  I was the economy. I stuck myself through an oversized toilet seat and represented a dollar bill getting flushed. It got some good reactions at the neighborhood party.

     I partcipated at an costume party event that took place at a rented fire station hall it was great. I am 6 foot 4 inches tall and weigh 230 pounds. I went as an horseracing jockey. I wore see thru tights covered by my silk blue jockey shorts. I also had on a red silk jockey's jersey with the # 13 on it. I wore a jockey's helmet with a chin strap and I carried a small whip in my hand. I had on white knee high socks with black dress shoes. I got there by way of my horsey head pole.         I think I was supposed to take first place but I got the hell out of there mighty fast . . . I felt like a total dickhead.  I'll never do that again !   Next year I'll probably do something a little more reasonable . . . maybe I'll go as peter pan or something.

  but my little one was a goth on halloween and then last night she was a rocker at this thing they do after dark in the park it was fun!

  I dressed up as a convict and I went to a friends barn party. There was lots of good food and a full bar. The party was last weekend as opposed to the actually holiday though but still good times.

  South-Africans suck at halloween plus if we send our kids out to trick or treat or whatever it is we will never see them alive again I promise you.
  For the adults, well its a good excuse for girls to dress like sluts and other women can't say a word about it oh yes and then there's the good excuse for drinking but "saffa's" don't need excuses for that we or should I say my fellow 'saffa's' , they're born alcoholics. hehehehe

  Well feel free to post pictures here, you guys. I'm going to in a couple of days. I do believe that out of all those costumes I was the only Nick Fury. Screw Samuel L. Jackson, I'm lobbying for the role in The Avengers movie.
