Then go read some on HBC's blog in which another kevin speaks unkindly. On firday night , kevin somebodywrote four blogs in a row. Very thought provoking I might add. (not) Then read this sithborg guy. I am very confused as to who is who and what is going on. Maybe I should just turn off the computer and take a motrin. I read three postings by the same Kevin and I laughed. My reaction was, "Ooowee, what an unabashed asshole. Hahahaa."
When you read some one's whatever, and it's obviously some anus relieving itself:
1. don't take the geezers crap on board and make it yours.
2. The process is, "Is what this anus releasing true about me, about who I am?"
If the answer is no, then you let it pass over.
It may be true for some other geek or wha'ever, but that's not your problem to own.
One of the best investments I ever made was to attend a workshop on problem solving. The first module of that program was called "Who owns the problem?" It was good stuff. I just gave you the gist for no charge. Ain't that great?

Hey yeahbutnobut... I had some blogs posted until a few weeks a go, my life has recently taken a significant turn and I felt the blogs were no longer relevant. Besides I find commenting is more interesting at the moment...
I'm enjoying your blogs and comments. I'd never heard of Erich Fromm but looked him up on the net this afternoon. I have also found a lot of truth and wisdom in the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. He seems to be virtually unheard of these days. What appeals to me is that he denied the 'guru' status that the world tried to give him. Humility is wisdom in my view... wisdom is an open mind.

I have some vids of Jiddu the K. He is brilliant. Few small volumes by him as well. I love his dicussion on fear, perticularly. Fear is the that thing has us by the gonads and it is a real big deal to bring it into awareness in all it's guises.
I'm very partial to Erich because he has a gift for lucidity, plain speaking, and his topics resonates well with my own thoughts and experience.
