I think that everyone once sees the pumpkin lights, you will think of 

Halloween. 
  On Halloween, people are more or less have a certain amount of emotional 

awareness: In the Halloween period, many public places and even courtyard 

home will be arranged on a lot of decoration, such as all kinds of ghosts, 

pumpkin lights, black cats and the witches broom; Children will be put on 

the different Halloween costumes every year, and carry pumpkin lantern to 

ask for candy from door to door, which said to be " Trick or treat".

As for the pumpkin lights ,there are two different ways at least: One is 

that person hollow out the pumpkin and engrave a grimace ,then burn a candle 

fire to break up the ghost; Another point is that the ghost lights the Candle 

fire is attempting to cheat people and then walk followed the ghost . So people 

engrave a surface of mockery  on the pumpkin to make fun of the ghost: Hmm! 

Only fool may get cheated. As the first person who usese the pumpkin is the 

Irish  man maned Jack, so people called the Pumpkin face lights as Jack-O-Lantern. 

 However, Halloween has circulated but already completely not having had the 

religion superstition color today. It has become a children's program, and 

also as the young person's fancy dress party programs.
