I have a friend who tells me that in his country, the mongoose eats all the poultry, so when they catch one they put kerosene on its behind and set it alight. The mongoose takes off and tries to put out the fire with it's mouth. I would never do that to a mongoose myself, let along something on two legs, but it sure is fun to play with the idea, of such exquisite torture. :)
